Red Orchestra (2) : Heroes of Stalingrad

I've had it countless times, sneak up on someone and point your gun at their head, POP nothing, POP nothing...

I usually end up either melee attacking or just trying to hit their chest.


Happend plenty of times too when people are proned the hitboxes seem even more annoying, 3 shots at someones head when proned and they just look at you and laugh!

Haven't seen one as of yet,

Infact I think the only unlockables are extra scopes for the sniper rifles?

When you go up in level on weapons I believe their accuracy and reload times improve?


Edit: There is unlocks for other weapons seen a few posts just now mentioning upgrades to MG's when you reach higer levels, still haven't seen an unlock chart yet though

If you check out on the menu there is a stats page, on there it shows all the different unlocks for each class.

Only weapons you can unlock are the pistols and the Mk08 (i think) which is essentially an MP44, but you have to get veteran status to unlock it (LONG)

There are pistol unlocks, full auto svt, g41 and svt sniper rifles, the stg44 proto, drum mag for ppsh, double mag for mp40, but they are all listed in your profile section within the game.

Should be some nice free content patches as well.

Yeah seen most of the unlocks come at the higher levels 25 + i think.

I should be on tonight at some point and will jump on mumble, hope more people come on mumble tonight there's been a lot of people on the server who haven't come in before :p
 
What is the issue with the server browser then? If I join a server that's full when I get back to the server menu all the game servers have disappeared:confused:

Yeah it's an annoying bug,

There has been a few suggested fixes posted around the TW forums, but all I do is exit the game and launch again and its fine.
 
I like cd but last night I noticed red october cd came twice with one map inbetween, and then it was pavlov cd, need mixing up a bit so its, te-cd-te-te-cd-te etc etc.
 
I've just installed the disc version but Steam is now downloading an 8Gb update!!:mad: Surely the game is installed from the cd and any updates via Steam should just be patches etc few hundred megs at most. Whats going on?
 
I might be on for a bit tonight, have a dodgy internet connection as of late so i randomly get cut off and end up watching Community, but its always great to play with people :)
