What's up with the fps seems way worse today ?

Think I'm edging towards a refund now, still getting kicked and banned for no reason, plus the single player mode just CTD now. In two or three weeks of trying for an hour or two every night, I've managed just over four hours of play, most of which is in the single player.

I can't be bothered to wait around for them to fix the game when every patch they release just makes the game worse for me.

It's got a few issues but it is a superb game looks great fully up and the gameplay immense I fully expect this to become truly outstanding

Why am I downloading a retail bought game?

Couple of our chaps with ctd problems have resolved them by validating the files, this in turn kicked a game patch off and fixed the problems.

Game is running quite smoothly for me but I occassionally get an issue where the sound goes and I have to restart the game to hear anything.

Hmmm just restarted the game and Steam is downloading a patch. Hopefully a decent one!

RO2 Updating Coming Today
We've got an update uploaded to Valve that should be released today. The update includes the following changes:

- fixed DDE content being awarded when it should/shouldn't be
- fixed RO1 content being awarded when it should/shouldn't be
- fixed the server browser not responding after disconnecting from a game
- removed MKB/AVT from Squad Leaders/Commanders, only Assault gets it now
And an update released yesterday included an undocumented change:
- improved performance for the Ultra setting

And before anyone asks - no it does not fix/change every other possible thing under the sun

It fixes what it says it fixes, nothing more, nothing less. We're chewing through the issues as fast as we can, and you'll probably see another update on Monday.
