It's the new mode they have put in. Basically you have to capture 10 territories. Your team can choose to attack/defend different locations depending on how many resources you have. Tis very good fun!
 
It's a much discussed subject. On the whole, I prefer Classic, but there are elements of Realism that I like. Classic makes shooting at range much harder; weapon sway and mechanics are affected much more by stamina. The removal of bandaging also makes survivability much harder. Classic is also more authentic in regards to weapon loadouts - much fewer semi-auto rifles, and no enemy weapon choices, etc.

That said, I can play Realism, I just don't enjoy it so much. I get frustrated by loadouts - I've played whole matches where I haven't been killed at all by a bolt action rifle, which feels out of place in an era dominated by their use.

I think my ideal gamemode would be a mix of the two - the loadouts, weapon mechanics, damage model and simplicity of Classic with perhaps a slightly higher running speed, and the cosmetic weapon changes from Realism.
 
I'm really enjoying this, I loved the first one and finding the second a decent next step. One of the only games I've tried other than ARMA where the guns really feel punchy and deadly.
 
Really enjoying it to - there's just so many times when I'm not sure if it's an enemy or not - god I need a color mod to make them all red or something!

Here we go chaps. This is the SweetFX config that I'm using. Makes it look so much better in my opinion. Drops 5/10fps for me when using this.

I reinstalled this after not playing it for about 6 months, and I seem to remember there were some additional config file settings for changing the FOV, apart form the in game one. I remember I had it set to have a relatively wide FOV for normal view, with a wider than normal FOV when aiming down the sight, and the normal FOV for the shift zoom affect. I suppose what I am saying is, which variable changes the aim down sight FOV, as I assume the in game setting is for the non ADS/ShiftZoomed view? Before I go looking, does anyone recognise what I'm on about and could point me at the relevant lines in the relevant config files?
