Dunno about that, theres been some talk about it on the ro forums. Not sure if its been said one way or the other if its audiable to only you or not.

That thread seems to indicate that it is audiable by the other team , but your character only does it if allies are nearby.

Not sure of this but it does seem like when you get hit by a tank shell theres no real indication of it, you'd think you'd get a screen shaking effect or hear a large clunk.
Early on in that vid one of the tankers say theyve taken front damage while engaged with another tank, there just seems to be a real lack of any hit indicator.
ed: After watching it more you can hear a bit of a clunk, not exactly as loud as i would have expected for a tank shell hit.

Was activating my copy of Deus Ex so it could download while I was at work today. I also activated my special edition copy of RO2 but there was no option to pre-load.
Download servers are going to take a huge hit if they only allow downloads late this afternoon/early evening surely?

Theres no pre load for the beta as far as I know, it'll be out when its ready type of thing. There will be a preload before the proper release on the 13th though, which like other releases will be the majority of assets (big stuff like textures etc) with a small download on the day with the rest of the game code, same goes for any retail discs to prevent zero day pirates.
