Came to post this.

Met him quite a few times at exhibition matches, always had time for anyone and generally stayed well beyond the time he was supposed to.

Anybody been watching the Saudi Arabia Masters this week? It's been a really great tournament with 144 players there at the beginning. Now we're left with Willo v Judd. Hardly any one turned up in the audience though except for Ronnie's games.

It's comical that this could potentially be where the world championship is played in a few years. The place is dead 99% of the time, but we all know that Del-boy Hearn has basically already made up his mind about the world's going there, he's just yet to say it.

Money talks.

Sure we discussed this in and around the worlds, they’d have to start paying people to go to the events. It just wouldn’t be the same and wouldn’t look great on TV with empty arenas.

Very similar to the clips you randomly come across of Ronaldo scoring and theres like 10 people in the crowd and these are meant to be teams that have huge crowds…

What a fantastic final it was. I don't think I'd mind at all if the Worlds went to Riyadh. If it means more money for the players and they are treated with a great set up then so be it. I think they'll be plenty of Brits who go out to watch it. And at least the +2 hour time zone is a lot better than the +7 in Beijing.

Is your surname Hearn?

If it means more money for the players
Half a million quid for the winner isn't enough?

Only the very well off. There's a huge difference between driving to Sheffield and staying in a Premier Inn/Travelodge for a couple of nights as opposed to flying to Riyadh or Beijing with all the associated cost.

And Mark Selby gone out to Ishpreet Singh (who I think learned how to play snooker by playing the game on his PC!)
And Yize just thumped him 6-0 in semi!

Edit: Just looked at full results and Chadha has had a cracking week, beating...
Jak Jones
Vafaei
He Guoqian (who beat Ronnie)
Selby
