Ref: AZAB...Whose is the most infamous thread on motors?

"some girl may have been getting off on the gearstick"

If car manufacturers used this line to encourage new car sales, it could go one of two ways, either floods of disgusted people go to buy new cars, or millions of perverts head to the used car dealer's for a sniff of various aforementioned gear-changing implements :p

Some absolutely classic threads there, I remember Tom and the utter BS he used to spoute.

Also remember the MR2 thread as well, major LOL'age.

Anyone remember the car transporter ;)

Ahahahahaha! I'd forgotton about that one, 3 rare classics all written off after being stolen on a car transporter, and the pics posted were taken off various sites including a "How to restore your MG Midget" site or something similar!?

Who was that loud mouth who joined a few years back, had all the answers, right cocky sort with a very smug posting style? If I remember he drove a GT3 at the time, silver I think, and he posted on a lot of other forums too usually taking the micky and not taking stuff serious? Glad he's gone, he was a right tool!

....ooohhhhh ;)

I nearly caught that mug out for posting a picture with a watermark from another site on it, sly git made up some story that everyone else lapped up though.

The biggest tool we had on here was the guy who tried to convince us that he had transplanted an engine and entire running gear from an Audi Quattro in a Toyota Corolla.
In a shed.
Without having to machine any parts for it.

Which was fine till one of the members listed what would actually need to done to do it as none of the parts are even remotely close to fitting and would require the car to cut to pieces to fit.

Gurdas and his "spec me a £100,000 supercar" threads, which went on for months.
Clarkey getting slated for his constant assertions that the Nissan 300z was the best car in the world ever.
Matey with his fake BMW with pictures from a dealers website, of the wrong car.
The dude not so long ago with the imaginary stolen transit.

I never once asked what car I should buy for £100k. Talking of tools, wasn't it you who always used to brag about sleeping with married women?

No you didnt you kept asking what car your dad should buy, for £100,000.
Over and over again.

And no i didnt brag, I got asked the question, would you sleep with a married woman, and i said yes, and said i had no problem with it and that I had done it.

Whats that got to with you asking about supercars every five minutes?

See you've confused me saying the epic threads we used to have teasing you about you asking about these cars as a personal attack, It isnt, they were epic threads and enjoyed by all.
You've just gone all bitch fight about it.

I asked for opinions on some particular cars which were valid, in the end you were made to eat your hat were you not? Difference between that and threads being discussed is that I didn't make anything up.....

Wasn't there also someone trying to scam people with a crash repaired Elise or VX220 Turbo. His brother worked in a body shop or similar. He insisted it was straight but research revealed better....

Wasn’t there a guy who said he wanted to buy a car, for us to spec it and that price was no object. Didn’t he send someone a copy of his bank statement to prove he could afford one.

I remember him - "150K to spend" :D

I remember this, didn't he fax/email bank statements over? What ever happened then did he get a lambo in the end?

No I think it was an MSN conversation that you initiated with me where you said you couldnt understand why you were getting so much stick.
I then went on to tell you that banging on about buying 100,000k supercars like they were your own when you couldnt actually drive in a forum full of people on sub £20k salaries is going to cause problems, and you went on to see the light.

I spoke from the experience of having a rich dad as well, and you heeded my advice and all was well.
