Ref: AZAB...Whose is the most infamous thread on motors?

No I think it was an MSN conversation that you initiated with me where you said you couldnt understand why you were getting so much stick.
I then went on to tell you that banging on about buying 100,000k supercars like they were your own when you couldnt actually drive in a forum full of people on sub £20k salaries is going to cause problems, and you went on to see the light.

I spoke from the experience of having a rich dad as well, and you heeded my advice and all was well.

I took it offline with you because you were being a knob and making quick accusations and claiming I was lying, which is what bothered me. The forum is about discussing things and sharing common interests we have, including cars that are out of reach for a lot of people. I never once lied or claimed ownership, unlike azab and co.

No, I never mentioned the car or your constant threads, I came in and said you need to perhaps be a little more mindful of what you say and how you say it, a bit like now.

They were however, very amusing.

Lighten up, we are all friends, you should be honored getting a mention.

Not only that, but the 4.2 SV8 variant. He said in another threa that he'd post some pictures of that futuristic cockpit the new Jag has but, for some reason, he never did.

This will be that Talbs bloke then, another with a weird sense of reality...

The ironic thing was that hovis was used to prove putting bread on a car did NOT prove ownership, so quite why everyone now says OMG PICS WITH BREAD I have absolutely no idea

It sort of proves that someone from OcUK at least took the picture.

What happened to the BMW1 series for a few k from his dad's mate's garage or something else? It would have been worth well over £10k at the time and he'd get it for £5 or £6k?

Yep, that's the fella. The guy who also had the dodgy Russian girlfriend and wanted to know how to fly into Russia with more than £10K secreted about his person.

Arrufel, again.

Wrong, don't know any greeks to be honest.

I still think "who cares" in the majority of these situations. Some of you go to such lengths to prove people wrong that it actually makes you look slightly pathetic.

Perhaps it's because I am outside of the "clique" and tend to lurk rather than posting regularly, but from the outside it seems as if there are a number of people that are so desperate for the attention they go to any lengths to make others look silly.

Each to their own I guess, if you enjoy being a detective then good luck to you. However, it could get to the stage where you call BS on everything and discourage useful posts.

But in the case of Azab, fair enough you found out he was lying. Why this was such a big achievement I have no idea, who cares if a spotty chavvy teenager claims to drive a car? I can't see why the prove him wrong at all costs attitude is required and what you gain from it.

Ho hum.....

Finally, someone with sense.

Know exactly where you're coming from Adam. Don't be bothered by it. ;)
