Relationships: Is age a issue to you?

I find it a bit weird to be honest when people that are 20 or older go for people that are 16 and 17, they're at completely different stages of life.
mileage in what respect?
I'm 25 my girlfriend is 21, I met her when she was 16 and still at school, I did used to feel a little bit dodgy waiting outside school for her.
Anyway we are a success story, we now live together are and are getting married next year. We have pets and everything
She is the love of my life and I can honestly see us growing old together

i havnt read all the posts but there is a massive difference between being 16 and 20. you go through so much growing up during that period, i.e. leaving school, getting job/going to uni. just because its 3/4 years doesnt mean there arent massive differences between you. for that reason i think its wrong

Sex is boring by the time you hit 21, you can barely feel it because practically every woman sleeps around.
Though, i admit, i go for the older ladies myself (30s) find them much more beautiful
Im 20 and my boyfriend is 27, I met him when I was 17 and now we have a beautiful 11 month old baby boy and we are getting married in May 09! I dont think there is any issue with age as long as you both understand each other, I dont even notice there is an age difference between us until someone asks!

Yeah but then when you have gone through the high rolling 30's they get to 40 and become dull and uninterested in sex

It's simply not true. "That department" in my wife is tighter than the French Internet laws.
I was 20 and going out with a 35 year old, lasted 2 years, and the age wasnt the reason we split up, more to do with him running off with the secretary from work.
Age wouldnt really bother me if they were older, the only thing that id worry about would be if they were younger, and still wanted to go out getting trollied on the weekends, cos I kinda think im past that now, been there done it sort of thing. Still wouldnt completely put me off though if they were younger.

age shouldnt really matter. its only really the banter from friends a and the locals that you'd have to put up with, i guess. the youngest girl i was with was 3 years younger than me. the oldest was 5 years older. i think, or was it more? i dunno lol
