Resident Evil 1 remake on PC due 2015

Looking forward to this as the original which I recently played on my beloved PS1 still made me jump. Particularly when the hell hound jump through the window in the corridor. Which is ridiculous when I knew it was going to happen.
 
Got my key from GMG earlier today, activated, preloaded and ready to go.

This time tomorrow, we'll be back to the mansion.

I'm 32, and I'm still booking days off work to play games. :confused:
 
Meh. Sounds like a re-skin.

Now if they actually remade the game, like they did with Tomb Raider Anniversary, I would be interested. Keep the same story, the same design, the same atmoshpere but build it new in a new engine.

That would be an RE1 game I would buy :)
 
REmake is, without doubt, the perfect example of a remake already. It doesn't need remaking, simply cleaned up and made available to those who don't own a Nintendo console.
 
I read a piece somewhere that suggests that the quality of the HD backgrounds is a bit sketchy. They are mostly beautiful, but there are some poorer ones too.
I like the look of the changes to movement.
 
Yeah except for PC Gamer but who cares about them though 79% still a good score....seems most sites giving it 9/10
 
I was going to hold off getting this for a bit but I cant wait, lol.

Its come at quite a nice time really. I re-played the original Resi on the PS1 over last Christmas so its been a nice break between that and now replaying the remaster of the remake... :D
 
Can't wait for this! Preloaded and ready to go. Wanted it on my ps4 but sony missed a trick and put the preordering so late it's daft, especially considering the crap download rate on their network anyway.
 
Looks really good, especially the character models. Finding it a bit hard at the moment as I haven't played a proper resi game for like 10 years.
