Resident Evil 1 remake on PC due 2015

how much is gamecume these days, ebay? how do you play, monitor or tv?

Gamecubes are very cheap these days. This seems like an okay deal and includes RE0 already so you don't have to worry about buying it separately. You could probably find it cheaper though if you look through the listings or find something locally. Also if you have a Dreamcast I can throw Leon's Disc for RE2 your way as I have a spare and it's not worth the hassle selling it for under a £5 on eBay.

Would anyone be able to send me a save? ive had to format my hdd because of a very stupid mistake and this was the main game I was playing.

Around the courtyard would be much appreciated.

Thanks

I am at the 'residence' just past the courtyard but do have some backtrack saves so you could maybe get back to where you were

Completed it now its very good way better than the original but it does go on towards the end a little bit with too much backtracking just for the sake of it.

Capcom really should have spent just a little more time on some of the backgrounds they are quite low res upscaled & the movies are also very dated but it does have a LOT of gameplay as once completed there are many bonus weapons/costumes to earn.

Well done to anyone who legit beats this in 3 hours thats just insane dedication

is this worth another go?
ive not played the ps1 version since its release date. i know its the HD ps1 version.

its not a HD ps1 version. its a total remake/overhaul made for the gamecube. :) ported and upscaled for pc/ps4 and XBO

and yes, its definitely worth a go if you havent played this version :D

I have been playing the remake a bit now, I love the visuals and the sound and whilst it's still fun to play I'm not sure a more modern game / remake would have gotten away with some of the stuff.
I thought I would really like using the analogue controller when I first tried it out, and then I switched to the next screen and wa srunning towards the camera whilst holding up, somehow it feels even more unnatural than when the Dpad does this.
I swear in the original game which I haven't played for years that the lighter took up an inventory slot, I was hunting around for a lighter to light that fireplace and didn't realise I had it on me all along, doh.

Chris starts with the lighter. Jill doesn't.

Chris needs old* keys to unlock the lockpick doors that Jill can open with the lockpick :p
