Yeah. I was going to hold out too, but it is only 30 minutes and a one time only demo. I will be taking it slow, exploring and seeing what has changed etc.

No, im playing Dead Space 2 at the minute, and then im going to do Resi 7 after i finish it, before moving onto this

Mr x constantly stalks you like the alien in isolation, he is drawn to gun fire and the like and you have to constantly listen out for his footsteps.

Weird. That sounds a lot more like RE3 than 2... But I am happy for new stuff, as long as they keep the old stuff in it too.

Apparently the original demo back in the day was like that? Would not have minded if it was 30 minutes and up to a certain point in the game, but you can play it over and over again until a certain date.

Yeah this is true, not that i play the original demo but this seems like a mini game demo.

Bit tight only letting you have 30min and that's it. The 2nd demo of the original had a 10min timer, but you could play as many times as you wanted, if you got too far in the 10min, it just crashed/ended (can't remember). Not really anything they could do back then to stop you playing over and over or even freezing the timer with cheat codes.

It was indeed timed, it came with Resident Evil: Directors Cut IIRC.
