*** Resident Evil 2 Remake ***

Wondering if my weird random stutter/pause, was being caused by AB, as was getting the same in 7 (which ive just started playing, and uses the same engine), but last night, i decided to leave AB off, and just cap to 60 through the ingame menu, and it was perfect, i just got a slight stutter, at the very beginning of my playthrough, after id loaded it up, then after that, it was perfect, played for over an hr, so will see how this runs with no AB running too, once i get around to it. :p

I have never played resident evil 1 remake is it as good as this?
In terms of a Resident Evil game I would say yes. But it is different as it has pre-rendered backgrounds. I actually like pre-rendered backgrounds. Imagine if they made a resident evil game today using them, they would look a whole generation ahead graphically. Resident Evil remake looked way ahead of its time on the GameCube!

Saw there dlc trailer which I though was good at even better its free! Still need to pick this up

Can any one confirm if it has ultra wide support for pc nativily? I cba ******* about with ini files etc

I don't know what i'm missing here but the game seems very middle of the road to me. I've spent about 3 or 4 hours in the police station and haven't found it much fun or particularly scary. Totally bought in to the hype...or im not far enough in to it yet.

Yes it does :)

Cut scenes have the usual black bars though.

Not sure why devs don't do these in 21:9 along with the game.

Either hardcore is properly mental, or that infinite shot pistol you unlock for doing an s rank run on standard is absolutely rubbish

Zombies take about 25 shots to die. Those G mutants in the sewers take about 60 shots.

Not particularly far in, but this is great with M&KB just like I played the original with years ago. Setting to fxaa+taa gives a much more cinematic look to the game and gives the environment more of a pre-rendered feel due to the slight blur. It's a much better option than the smaa that's far too sharp and unlike one or two video's mention, seems purposely done this way.

Is that stupid big bloke that ive seen in vids coming after you randomly through the game as annoying as he looks? lol its the only thing putting me off this game at the moment, I cant remember him being in the original?

Well I went back and re-played Leon A story on normal mode again to get S-rank last night, got it in 02:05:00 in-game time with 11 saves and 2 first-aid spray but I did had to restart my run twice and re-load save a few times so it did take me almost 3 hours in one sitting.

Yeah the Hardware unboxed suggestion of SMAA isn't good.

It adds shimmering everywhere, particularly in the rain outside. None of the solutions are great but FXAA+TAA is clearly better.
