When I clicked through, indications were it's a key - I think the shared accounts are as low as £7-10 elsewhere.
Let me know if you get it and it is a steam key. If it works I can always cancel my CDKeys.com order. £3 is £3 :D

I got the £7 one, Deluxe Edition ready to go!

You basically install a separate steam client and use the login procedure they give you (the site where you bought the game) once you're in you download the game and set steam to offline mode and away you go.
Ok, makes sense - can see from a practical viewpoint how it operates. Does make me wonder why steam wouldn't flag many different IP's accessing the account and disable though.

Those don't do much for me, as I like to have the game in my steam account and don't mind supporting the devs for games I really like. But I guess can be handy in some instances :D
I agree. I should pay full whack really because the game is highly rated pretty much everywhere and they deserve to be supported more. I did buy the previous game on 3 different machines though at full price so I don't feel TOO bad haha.

CD-keys sometimes don't get keys until well in to the afternoon.

That's the downside of using them to save a substantial amount, but as a functional adult with a job and commitments it doesn't really bother me.

I paid a high price strangers.

But through Humble Bundle membership it gives 10% off, plus they donate an extra £6 after that to charity which I can tax deduct, plus I 100% trust Humble Bundle, I don't 100% trust most of the other heavy discounter key resellers. You also get the key instantly from Humble Bundle so it's already set up in Steam. I also like to have the full collection in my main Steam account. Even went deluxe, couldn't care much about the costumes, but in a game like this upgrading the two extra deluxe guns can be worthy of an extra playthrough.

I paid £10 more than CD keys deluxe price but £6 of that is the charity donation so I'm good with that overall.
