getting abit annoyed with it atm. 
doing it on professional but finding 2 of the bosses quite hard as most of the time the game doesnt give u the option to dodge and when u get hit even if my partner is standing next to me, its inpossable to keep me alive u die that fast :s

Handgun - Standard one you get at start of game can carry 100 ammo when fully upgraded.
Shotgun - M3 you can buy later in the game is super powerful
SMG - AK74 is most powerful SMG in the game
Rifle - Dragunov can carry 50 ammo when fully upgraded
For me the guns I use are: L.Hawk Magnum, M3 shotgun and Sheva on AK74
what console? Could hop on for a bit as i got nothing else to do if you're on xbox, might take the fun out of it though as i have a bunch of inf ammo weapons/all weapons maxxed thus making it easy for you
Do you guys always have probs with the amount of slots in the inventory for you and Sheva? Cos I'm finding that I HAVE to quit out after every save point (not end of chapter, at every save checkpoint) to go to the Item management and free up some slots.
Ok I do search perfusively in every area for goodies, so chances are, if its in the area I have collected it... but it gets annoying having to take breaks in the action to free up slots.
There isn't anyway to go to Item Management from within the game is there? I'm a horder in this game, so discarding items is a no-no!

How many weapons are you carrying? That's a sure fire way to fill up all your slots quickly.
Try dropping to just 2 or 3 guns with minimal ammo.

Well got the final magnum, oh my dear it hurts the bosees mwahaha.
My current loadouts are both vests on chris and sheva, fully upgraded S&W each, chris having the final one. Upgraded M3 on chris and upgraded AK on sheva.
Currently going thru the rest of the weapons upgrading as I go.
As for the points to unlock the infinite ammo, the first few chapters can be ran thru extremely fast and the S grade gives 1500 for those not liking mercenaries.
Mercenaries is as fun as ever, Hated that miens level tho, once you work out where all the timers are yer good to go, constantly hitting A on the first one now which is good fun and good for points, still a long ass way from 400k tho, still dont understand how lol.
The first chapter and the first tribal section have proved decent for fast farming cash, whats the highest people have noticed in any level?
Im gonna try farming the lickers too but teh gems I noticed are only 2.5k not 5K like most of the larger gems.
Im also missing 12 treasures which is annoying as hell and those damn BSAA logos are quite elusive, I think Im gonna have to kit out with a rifle and just meander thru every level.
Anyone needs a second for co-op lemme know Ive not tried online yet, co-op was good fun but the wonky split screen theyve used is a bit strange, so much screen wasted

Ive been farming the first part of chapter 6-3, 2 rocket launcher guys = 4k and 2 Insect things = 10k so 14k in total per run, another option is 3-1 you can make about 15k without using any ammo.

Best one is experimental facility. Play the 1st 5 minutes till you get to the long hall with all the lickers. Kill them all and you get 5 treasures worth 2500k each.
then quit the game, and go to continue. You start back at the long hall
Killl the lickers again and BAM easy money
Can make 100k in 20 min. I have infinite ammo on the L hawk so its easy enough

Any one managed to complete it on the hardest difficulty setting using AI Sheva?
Just finished this today, I notice once you start again it gives you the option of infinite ammo. When I select 'yes' for infinite ammo and start the game, I don't have infinite ammo!?! Strange one but what am I doing wrong?
You need to fully upgrade a weapon then purchase the unlimited ammo unlock from the Bonus Features screen.
Nice one, will try it abit later.

Completed it on normal today, then had a little play around with the unlocked content. Very nice, like the Mercs missions.
How do u unlock all the maps for Mercs mode?
Where are all the Blue Emblems?
I have 13 treasure items to find, any hints?
Great game though, still feel that Resi 2 has been the best in the series so far though

I think its gonna be a case of equip a rifle and slowly scour each area
I've finished the game and ran thru most maps a few times and am yet to uncover 2 rows of treasures. The last one I recently uncovered were on teh map where you start with nice sunset into the cabin then theres that gatling gun outside, cant remember chapter number off top of my head, theres a couple of gems hanging high on the cliffs on the left. The boating area theres a bug or two on teh outer walls/trees, boat upto them and sheva should loot them.
In teh cave section with the lamp theres a diamond hidden up one of the offshoots in the caves I didnt find first time round.
Indeed the Magnum with its top end of 5k+ is redonkuless, bosses take a coupla hits and thats it, nice for the extra gems they drop and also the times
slowly chopping bits and pieces off of my time in order to get that sub 5hr score, also trying to nail down those first sections to silly fast xD

I still need the sodding golden egg in the story mode, the one I picked up in merc mode apparantly doesn't code towards my Gamerpoints despite teh egg on your face award being gotten in emrc mode.
