Resident Evil 7!!!

ARE THERE ZOMBIES?????

Only a couple of hours in so far, but I dont think these are zombies, they are undead, yet alive, yet dead...more like ghouls perhaps, the game refers to them as being "turned" but there is almost an Exorcist like possession quality to them, you can maim them and they can regenerate. They actually remind me a little of the people in the original Evil Dead film when they get 'infected'. So, zombies in the traditional moaning and groaning, shuffling, brraaaaains...type? no.

this game is so dark u dont even care about 21:9 after 5 mins of play..

playing on x34 and doesn't bother me one bit... also play OW 16:9.

I'm playing on a 3440x1440 screen, you can set this res, but its just black bars down each side. It plays only in 2560x1440

Can't you try and mod the ini file like on Fall out 4?

With a few tweaks I got fall out 4 looking great running at a solid 100FPS at 3440 x 1440p on my rig...

That's niot the point

It 2017

The best gaming monitors are 21:9

And yet this game doesn't support it?

Its crazy and lazy of the devs...

I get very good performance with new drivers on my 1070, game looks incredible and if you have fps issues try rendering method interlaced-you lose a bit of image quality but should gain around 20% more performance or more.

Sounds good! Wondering how well it will run at 4K and what options would need lowering to get 60fps?

Maxed with resolution scale 1.3x 2560x1440 not sure what res that is probably near 4K? was hitting around 55-60fps but didn't try that for long seemed fine however but guessing performance should be 60fps maxed for you with SSAO on instead of HBAO+ and rendering method interlaced if needed.

Has anyone noticed a fuzziness with very minor flickering on just a couple of areas that look to have water on in the kitchen? From the hall with the chained cabinet if you look at the sink I can notice it. I'm pretty certain it's the game or driver related.

Play around with AA settings to remove this. TAA seems to work best. TAA+FXAA seems to make it a little blurry.
