Resistance is Futile - AMD RX 9070 Borg Armada - OcUK Kings of Stock (1000's in stock)

Pulse price is good. Reaper too. I notice the Steel Legend is now £570. What are Asrock cards like? My Taichi mobo has been rock solid for 5 years (other than some bios issues when it first came out) but I have no experience with their GPUs.

Asrock are truly fantastic cards engineering and quality wise.

Not to get people's hopes up but as Asrock don't have like an entry level card as such, they can only offer this MSRP on this SKU for a maximum of 10 units, sorry to be bearer of bad news but they will be near impossible to get one, once those 10 sell out the price will go up to £649.99

Why I don't like the MSRP game for small quantities, its miss leading, but we don't set it and FYI our landed cost on those is over £600, so it is not even a case that our margin requirement is too high.

Sapphire Pulse and Powercolor Reaper have far larger volumes for MSRP SKU's :)

Hi there

As Sapphire jumped the gun with our content (TUT TUT), I might as well share with you guys the Borg Cube Overclockers UK marketing department spent hours building out of Sapphire 9070 XT Pulse Cards and yes the cube is solid, the centre is even more 9070 XT Pulse cards and we have over 1000 in stock just of this model, even better OcUK will hit £569 Inc. VAT on this incredible beast of a card with hundreds to go round at MSRP.

In fact we have so much stock we could build an armada of Borg Cubes pretty much out of every model we have and from all brands, we have several thousand cards in stock spanning across Sapphire, PowerColor and Asrock all of which have 1000+ in stock of each brand.

We then also have several hundred cards from Gigabyte and ASUS as well, this launch will be impossible to resist as such is the reason we built Borg Cubes, because AMD will assimilate you, resistance is futile, BUY Tomorrow from OcUK at 2pm with prices starting from £524.99 Inc VAT. :)

Cheers @Gibbo .

I'll default to a Pulse then probably.

Also, I can't seem to log into OcUK with my normal account. Not recognising any of the passwords. I've had to log in via the Amazon thing. Is that going to use my debit details so I can expedite my order or do I have additional hoops to jump through?

Compare apples to apples, Sapphire Pulse to Sapphire Nitro is £130. :)

But they are same GPU chipset, both are quality cards with decent coolers. If the Nitro was 20GB yeah that would be worth the extra £230

Not like say loudspeakers, where there is a SE where it's the same speaker, but the more expensive model is real wood veneer versus vinyl wrap upgraded crossover, so the extra is worth it

MSRP is capped quantity of a few hundred, so prices will jump once those are sold through.

I was reading today retailers can offer MSRP as AMD are offering a discount to retailers but once its gone the price rises.

You know this is genuine stock because the burger is there.

At MSRP these look great. At £700+ I’m not so sure anymore.

May end up sitting on my 7700xt I got for £300 until the next generation so I see some bigger gains.

Although it's more a side grade, that extra 4gb of Vram over my 4070TI, has pretty much convinced me to buy one now. Damn the wife going to kill me lol.

sold

I'm glad I didn't get the 5070ti I ordered I already cancelled it :P

The card is great, the price not so much. that's my only criticism of the 5070 Ti, the price was set by retailers, RRP isn't that bad, but obviously you can't find one for RRP. The power consumption and performance is impressive compared to the 9070XT, but yeah availability and price, terrible. It is what it is.

I'm thinking of getting my son an 9070XT, will be a big upgrade for him coming from a RTX 2080.

5070ti does look good ...if was £570.

Debating a downgrade from my 4090 to the Pulse XT, I don't do much gaming atm and the funds would come in useful for some other stuff.. hmmm

£570...nice.

Shame the Sapphire Pure is over £100 more though! That was what I was hoping to get, but no way at that price.
