I just picked up a boxed mint Super Nintendo Super Scope :D

Off hand what other games are compatible with it apart from the 6 game multi cart you get? :)

Yoshi's Safari is the only one I can remember that I'm fairly certain worked with the Super Scope.

Battleclash and Terminator 2 aswell. (for a bigger list check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Scope) but they dont have them all listed on there.

Funny you should mention yoshi safari

And battleclash

I am a sucker for light gun games. Im trying to collect all the amster system light gun games which is pretty tricky.

I remember seeing them in the shops years ago for a LOT of money..

Yeah they were an intermediary between the SNES and Mega Drive and the Playstation and Saturn. They launched at around £399, and in the end they weren't powerful enough nor did they have enough superior games. The 3DO technology model was interesting though - develop a console, but allow manufacturers to manufacture and market their own models. Thus there were several different 3DO models from different manufacturers. There was an all powerful, all conquering "M2" upgrade/new machine planned to launch in the mid to late 90's, however it never materialised.

Hi-Saturn bits, the silver card is an MPEG decoder for playing VCD's

Will post more probably tomorrow when I have time, had some quite rare bits.

The Hi-Saturn which you can see in the bottom pic was the regular one, not the Nav Hi-Saturn that's worth a fortune.

The Saturn is the daddy for 2D beat 'em ups, simply because it's the easiest way to play the arcade perfect versions without forking out for the arcade/Neo Geo/JAMMA boards. Interesting enough, the Playstation lacking in 2D specialised hardware is pretty poor for 2D beat 'em ups.

Who remembers this then, the c64 GS, a keyboardless Commodore 64 :D

And another picture that other Commodore oddball, the Amiga CD32 'The worlds first CD-based 32-bit games console :D

See mine at the top of the page :p its basically an A1200 in console form. V.cool though!

IIRC it had an extra chip that was missing from the A1200, that basically converted PC image formats to Amiga on the fly, or something.

Rememember it's 'killer app', Microcosm  :D

I don't know if there were any differences between the CD-32 and A1200. I remember putting many CD-32 games into my A1200 CD-ROM ( ) and playing them. Conversely, I remember putting Aminet CDs into the CD-32 and playing with all the neat stuff on them.

You are correct sire :)

I'm loving getting back into the amiga stuff, just after a 1200 with a HD now and i'll be a happy bunny. Ooh, and an A4000 tower would be nice - with somewhere to keep it! :D

I found the wiki post slightly later on, not long after I played Yoshi Safari ;)

That scope is one of the best guns I have used for accuracy and I am now on a gun hunt. Got one for Saturn and Dreamcast, looking for all the others if people have names :)

NES - Zapper
Megadrive - Menacer

By the way, its worth a mention that Gamestation informed me yesterday they had been asked to clear the stores of retro games over the next week to make room for more hardware. So expect to see stock changing if your into that kind of thing ;)
