Picked up Super Mario Bros 3 boxed with manual in great condition for £12, they seem to go for about £30 in that condition on eBay. Also picked up a working Gamegear, it's much bigger than I remember them.

Ok here you go mate....in the picture menu (top left green button on remote) you should get the following.....
Scan mode lets you choose 75/833i / progressive / 100hz and 100hz plus

Yeh I did this, though I appreciate the help!
I get the best results on 'progressive' and the (TC2) crosshair on the calibration screen only jumps a little but on any other setting it jumps and constantly flickers like crazy. Needless to say TC1 is unplayable.
A random white line appeared on the screen last night, like dead pixels, so I'm now just checking free cycle for anything decent.

Yeh I had a look, just need to offload this one first and arrange to pick up another, finding the time is a factor atm. Bit gutted but I just need to find diff tele.

Ive got the option of getting hold of a boxed megadrive (as-new apparently) with a couple of games and controllers for £25, is that a reasonable deal? im not too sure, as im pretty new to this.

Type 4 still has probably my favourite intro from a game ever

I spent for ever on Ridge Racer Rev, Getting the Devil and Angel cars.

Loved Rage Racer also , My love died out by the time type 4 came about. More than likely something to do with Gran Turismo

£1.99 for capcom snk

the snk game was the game i wanted soon as i seen it but i was like Eh all the others ps1 games are 49p yet this is £1.99,hmm i think somebody has been on ebay! I got who wants to be millionaire just because the box was in great condition

I am mainly collecting gamecube now,every cube game i see i am buying and for tiger woods 2004 two discs both in mint condition and box is clean as a whistle for 99p its a no brainer and if because its a 2 disc case i could use it to swap for my battered resident evil box.
