Retro console and games thread

Going to to go and raid my locals tomorrow toom had a few good original xbox and ps2 titles in there. Anyone afrer anything in particular let me know...I will have a looksie

Should I buy an original Sega Wonder Boy arcade PCB. It's very sort after so it expensive but it's such a classic. God dang I need a pack of will power pills.
 
Anyone help with my Spectrum problem?

Found my boxed 128k +2 in the loft last weekend, went to tune it in and cant get it to stop flicking every second or so. Games load and play fine (as well as they did anyway! I'd forgotten how annoyingly great Dizzy games were), but the picture flicking is really off putting! Reckon changing the RF cable would help?

bought a few bundles from ebay

that cost £8 and free postage i wanted die hard and for £8 i could use the box's and i am either going to go for a full set gamecube games so will need all the fifas or i will just use them for cases.I also just realised when i got them today thats two tiger woods 2004 i have whoops

I also bought these last night the listing had postage at £2.20 but the lot i got above costed the guy £4 to post so i can see the seller asking for more money.I paid a total of £10.70 for this lot and i only really had my eye on simpsons and mario which i nearly bought from cex at weekend for £10 so its costed a little extra for another little lot

Do yous think this is worth £45 are could i get them cheaper games look a bit sun faded,snes with 2 pads + 5 games.

a idea of then nerd room :p i have all the megadrive games and other consoles ect put away.I am wanting to get rid off all the dvds and just have games on the shelfs

i think the games on there own would be worth atleast £30 -£40 so really your only paying £5 for console and pads
 
My cheap cube arrived today but I think the av out may be knackered.....not great

Need to find a cube console only now I think....

Pretty sure consolegoods or retrocables.co.uk do a scart cable for the old girl....worth a look

If you want a black one i can sort you out with one.I have a few black ones i know work so you can have one if you want

i have a few consoles what i got from ebay last year as a part of a untested sale were i got 6 and i tested them all and only one didnt display a picture.I want to keep the silver and purple ones but your welcome to a black one

i just tried them all again and one of them its the sound that doesn't work.Its funny from all those game cubes, one of the silver ones doesn't have the digital av out on the back thought that was pretty odd.

Trust me your details and i will sort one out sometime next week
