Retro console and games thread

Admittedly rise of the robots is not a classic....hateful by some standards, i got it for the comical number of floppies it comes on lol

think that they are yeah, only place i can find other colour controllers is in the usa....currently talking nicely to my aunt in Texas lol

Have a few bits on the way from the bay to slow my craving for DC stuff so will post that up when it all arrives :D

Just won this lot for £21 star trek, dungeon master plus chaos stikes back, skeleton krew cyber, stardust, approach trainer and soccer

I've got myself some real minters in my stash now, probably worth a fair bit on the bay. Monkey island 2, it came from the desert and K240 for example :D

Mine was no trouble, I was extra careful not to extend it any more than I had to so it retained its springiness. I put the little catch on the plastic hook first try.

I didn't take the lid off the upper half of the plastic case, I just split the case in two and did it that way.

I'm getting tempted by Ecco the Dolphin on the bay now :(

Friend at work having a clear out of games :) 10 quid for the lot

Have to say my collection is growing nicely. Particularly happy with all of the lotus', xj220 and monkey island 2, project X and frontier elite 2 to name a few :)
 
F355 is fantastic! Used to play it online back in the day :D

Still looks great today graphically, Cheesy tragic rock soundtrack is cool too lol

The intro made the hairs on the small of my back stand on end.

I have had a quick blast on Suzuka. I enjoyed the game but felt it somewhat lacking in content (this is more because I thought it had a F1 style roster of tracks). Still looks pretty decent via VGA as well. I think I paid £3 for it so I am not massively fussed. The case is immaculate - quite rare now for PAL DC games.

Nice one! I was just thinking about this game the other day aswell, struggled for ages trying to remember the name of it.

Along with Saturn Bomberman (for the 10 player battles!) and Nights, it was one of my favourite games on the Saturn.
