Nintendo use to braodcast games at certain times of the day and you could download them and save them onto the flashcart. However you could only download the game that was being broadcast at that particular moment. Way ahead of its time for 1995 though.

Truly one of the Greatest games of all time. :D

Any one still got the little black hints book that comes with it ?

Think I’ve even got the manual for it kicking about.

It was supposed to give people cronic motion sickness wasn't it? :p

Yeah, also was supposed to cause cronic headaches due to the eyes having to focus really close, and I think the lovely red graphics didn't help either :)

I used to have a BBC B+ with 64K sideways ram :) Flash!!! Elite was played off a tape loaded through a gettoblaster connected via audio outs

Yeah every 15-20 minutes you should pull your eyes out from the screen and have a break for a minute or two. The 3D effect really works though and it's really quite funky.

That is awesome man downloading games was free I take it?

I think there was a small monthly subscription. If I had my Super Play magazines here, I'd look it up. :o

I believe a remake version of the original Zelda on the NES was released on the Satellaview... Edit found a link!
