Retro console and games thread

Didn't know this thread existed!

I've started me quest to own one of each the Sega/Nintendo consoles. (Just the common ones for now. )

Starting with nothing, I've managed to pickup a Mega Drive, Snes and Dreamcast on the bay for pennies already. All boxed in good condition.

Those go for over £100 on ebay if its sealed.

I've got 2 x ZX81's came with 1k ram as standard, got a 16k ram pack hanging around somewhere, also got 2 x Dragon 32's, 2 x C64's, Amiga 1200+, PS1, Dreamcast, Gamecube, Gameboy Original and loads of games for all of them.

I got the full set from ebay for about £50 a while ago. I'd say you got a good buy!

Yep. I got sent the t-shirt, dog tags and poster for free by sending a letter to Konami pretending I was a student doing research into the marketing of the game when it was released.

Again, just to mirror it that MGS PAL SE definately came with a t-shirt. Still a hell of a find for that price.

I have a loft full of retro stuff, Amiga's, ST's, Spectrums etc. that i've picked up at car boots but i've not found anything tasty for the last couple of years. Just seems to be a never ending supply of PS2 games lately.

Would love to see an old Amiga 1200 setup in a box with loads of stuff for £15 like in the good old days /wipes tear from eye

I need to go to a car boot sale and soon. Would love some retro consoles, my local charity shop only seems to have N64's and no games!

It is annoying the amount of PS2 games that are on carboots.
