If you just want to play it then the Dreamcast will read CDR's . Or just keep checking the usual sites and places until one turns up at the right price. It may also be cheaper to buy the game as part of a bundle or with a console. Then just sell on what you don't want.

I've just done that with the Sega Mega Drive Classics collection. Bought it with two other boxed cartridge games for less than it goes for on its own.

Lol, i never played it back in the day so have always wanted to try it, didnt realise the above was possible so maybe i could sample disc one and see

Thanks to those that recommended RetroGamingCables. I finally got around to getting an RGB scart cable for the Gamecube, and the difference between that and the composite cable is like night and day - much more vibrant colours and infinitely less blurry.
Definitely worth the very reasonable £11

Tried the c64 with scart cable I picked up and didn't work

Not sure if the cable is a lemon...Gutted if it is

Ordered a new one from amigakit which we hopefully be better quality

Enjoy the life simulator . Shenmue was amazing.

I really need to replay that and finally finish the second one.

I've been holding out hoping that they will release a HD version before the release of Shenmue 3.

Even if you don't like it you can always play Space Harrier in the arcade in the game.

Just playing my Megadrive on an LCD TV and not happy with the picture quality via the original supplied cable. Does the Scartho cable make much difference?

I was wondering if someone could give me some advice on how much my SNES collection is worth. I've got a raspberry pi running most of my old consoles so I don't really need it any more. I have the console (not gone yellow if that makes a difference), 3 controllers, 2 official and one third party. Two of them have sticky buttons but one official one is perfect. Games with it are super Mario kart, super Mario world, super Mario all stars, donkey Kong country, Street fighter 2, star wars and world cup 94.
I was also wondering wether it's worth selling as a job lot or the carts all separately. Thanks.
