I bet that cost an arm and a leg. Pray tell!

It was one of my more expensive PCBs but I managed to find it almost half price of most Ebay prices by joining Arcade community forums.

As far as Konami goes I currently have, "Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles", "Vendetta" also known as "Crime Fighters 2" and now "Aliens".

This lot was waiting for me when i got home today. Really pleased to finally own Japanese copies of Bare Knuckle 1&2. They are complete and are in lovely condition. I absolutely adore Japanese Mega Drive box art. Bare Knuckle 2 is especially funny considering the Creepy Arnold Schwarzenegger MR.X in the background and Jean Claude Van Damn Axel. Just Bare Knuckle 3 to get now but i will play the waiting game for that as it fetches a nice price.

Awesome pickups there! I really am dying to buy a Japanese Megadrive, (Model HAA 2510) sometime this year. But I keep telling myself to save save save for a boxed Chrono Trigger before I buy anything else though....

It seems to me that for the most part Jap art on all systems is WAY better than what we get in the West.

Do it!!! I managed to pick up a mint HAA 2510 with a Official 6 button Joypad for £24 shipped. I was very lucky as it was in great condition. I would have bid up to £50 for it but alas

Its the only system i am serious about collecting games for. The Plastic cases and Japanese art work really draw me to the Mega Drives library. It really is a fantastic system and i can appreciate the SNES for its library but i really do love mega drive games and it certainly has a different feel to it.

I dreamed I got a bargain deal for Robocop vs Terminator and Alex the kidd on MD the other night.

Was gutted when I woke up.

Off too look for some ps1 games at a local market this weekend.

Mind cannot help but feel the nostalgia has gone a bit for getting retro games, mainly as I now get them on some auction site. Not the same as finding a deal at a car boot or charity shop!

Agreed they look very good. RE: BK3, there's a few on fleaBay, one for £65 up to £90

That looks great! Very nice price for it.. I agree re MD vs SNES, but then I've always been a SEGA fanboy. Though to be honest I am a little more interested in collecting Dreamcast at the moment rather than MD. I have most of the stuff I want for it already, though the only JP stuff I have are Sonic games, so there's that to come later..

Alex the kidd

This really winds me up (sorry)

Hah, no problem, I thought I had spelt the name wrong. I gather your referring to "the"! I noticed when I search that's not what its called.

Learn something every day, Always just called it that since I was young!

Now if I owned the game maybe I would have known this. Sounds like another reason to getg collecting.

Just got Legacy of Kain Defiance and Maximo for Playstation 2 £1 each @ cashconverters

Nice one, I had a look in cash converters the other day mainly just old pes and fifa though. Tried a charity shop today couple of ps2 games bratz and something also poor .

Will keep trying oddly enough ps1 games seen too old for the charity shops near me .

Been a fun day with the SNES. Decided to do the region lock and 60hz mod.

Here it is, when I was testing it earlier with my 1 and only American game. :p

Took me bloody ages to mod the case.

Got a problem though, in 60hz mode the picture goes slightly blurry, so I'm asking around for help.

If I can be bothered tomorrow, I might have a go at my Mega Drive.

it might be something to do with the sync mate. I'm sure a pal modded snes doesnt diplay a true 60hz sync but something like 59.xxhz. Your LCD will probably cant handle the out of spec sync to well hence a slight blurry pic. Is it slightly choppy when the screen scrolls like tearing?

Wrong wording on my behalf. It's not so much as blurry, as jaggy.

Here's a pic of 50hz.

Here's a pic at 60hz

You can really see it around the Time marker.
The picture actually looks better when your scrolling.
