Retro console and games thread

What's the reason you guys choose this over the original console? More compatible with modern TV's?

A SNES and an at least an Everdrive cartridge to play those 21 games is more than £70, and if you wanted all the games as their own carts would be hundreds of pounds.

The mini NES looks great on modern TV's compared with the regular console, it can cost quite a bit to get a decent upscaler to make a regular console look good on a new TV.

Chrono Trigger would have been nice for sure. Legend of the Mystical Ninja too. There's soooo many great snes game tho it's impossible to please everyone. The list is pretty damn good.

Just got one pre ordered from Smyths Swansea :) All stores showed as having stock, time I completed, all are back to out of stock (apart from NI)!

Really annoyed I missed the official store there! .

Also really annoying that people are pre-ordering from different places so are reserving 3-4 consoles each. One order will do from one store. Thats just taking stock away from everyone else.

If the one from GAME materialise, I am happy to sell you the spare one at cost. How's that sound?
