unless he's had a lot of parts completely custom designed then i cannot imagine how that amount of money could've been lavished upon a YBBurned_Alive said:Im led to believe the engine alone is £90k worth
i heard martin was having front shafts custom made as part of the process of increasing the cars track.Ish said:the car was on display at ford fair. All it needs to finish it is front shafts , a few pipes, an exhaust and some fuel!!

I take it you can switch the drive from 2wd to 4wd. For dawy when you want to grip and days when you want to let rip!
Prodrive make a similar Diff for the new Impreza don't they?
Ish said:LOL the engine cost a LOT less than that!
the most i've ever seen for a road car YB was Turbosystems desert storm conversion circa £35k and something like 630 BHPIsh said:LOL the engine cost a LOT less than that!
thought as much.Ish said:yes, the track has been widened by 1" each side so custom front shafts are required.

Quote from some rs200 book
"All the road cars, including the example in the Ford Heritage Vehicle Collection, have permanent four-wheel-drive. Rally versions could switch from two-wheel-drive to four-wheel-drive at the throw of a lever on the transmission tunnel"
The Reyland car has variable in car adjustable 4wd split from a rotary knob which is much better than the antiquated RS200 system BUT if Martin's calculations work out he will use his pectel ecu to control the 4wd so he will beable to 'map' the 4wd!!!
