Rich Russians go pirate hunting in somalian waters

LOL! They're already annoyed at the Americans and the French for merely taking a ship back each, these pirates will love the russians.

Haven't cruiseliners used Sonic weapons on pirates in the past?

I guess this is a little different being lethal weapons tho... Sounds like something out of a film!

I bet you there is a scouse accent in every pirate ship they arrest legally off the coast of somalia, more reason to go hunting I think.

If i was rich, i would do it. Although i would do it dressed as a ninja to show that ninjas > pirates.

Anyway this is almost certainly a fake story - aside from being a bit unrealistic something like this would attract a handfull of people & most likely cost 10s of thousands per businessman to run (cost of hiring crew, security, fuel, chartering the vessel etc..) - given the likely size of the bill if this was real it would be slightly odd to then add on a charge a mere 100 dollars of whatever was mentioned in the article for the rifle.

The cruise costs 5790 dollars a day...

Still sounds too cheap, mercenaries aren't cheap and I can bet you rich businessmen wouldn't be going if they weren't fully protected.
