That is the last of the main cast of Young Frankenstein to go :( one of my top three films. RIP


There are some very strange theories being expressed in this thread though.

if he gene killed his dog and then killed himself, then hitler did this too, i wasnt suggesting gene killed 6 million jews.

Thanks. I love dogs. I thought gene was a legend too. But he'll also be an animal abuser if he killed his dog.

Godwins law = "As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler increases."

Its a modern internet "rule" that its almost inevitable that the longer a discussion goes on there will come a point in the discussion where someone makes a comparison to Hitler or Nazis, in this discussion we only made it 49 posts :D

If I lived to 94 and died peacefully, painlessly in my sleep (I am assuming Monoxide is painless?)....I wouldn't have mind.

RIP to him and his wife (and dog).
 
I'm Stunned by this news. :eek: One of the Few Actors to win best and supporting Oscars. I have no doubt a Tribute will be paid at this years ceremony on Sunday. :(
 
Funny how people are jumping straight to suicide pacts.
My first thought was carbon monoxide.
Guess we'll find out at some point.

I stated gene may have killed his dog before killing himself, like hitler did, i didn't state he murdered 6 million jews. I would rather have made a comparison to someone else who did the same but as far as i'm aware the list of people who kill their dog then themselves is pretty limited.

Daughter has all but said it was carbon monoxide according to Swedish media.

I jumped to pact because it's probably more likely than CO poisoning...
Arty types, very old age, Hollywood, why not it's on your own terms at 95....

Hearing things that might be along the lines of bodies decomposing and the like.

Possible wife in bathroom having died and unable to care for Gene.
