Fit the 3T Funda fork to the Soloist tonight.

Except I didn't because Wiggle sent the 1 1/4" instead of the 1 1/8" so I cleaned the headset and head tube. Please folks, just like your testicles you should regularly check your headset. It took me 45 minutes to sort our and the head tube looked like a Kingston sewer.

One day I will learn to do all these maintenance-y service-y jobs you speak of...

Gutted. When does yours end? There's only two more of ours and I'm helping out at the next one. Hopefully beat my PB at the season finale

Only one more next week for this club, but it runs on the same road as this week so there may be problems again, but hopefully they will look at alternate routes if they have notice of it., only entered my first a few weeks ago, but really got the bug now, just need to up my pace a bit, average about 22mph over 10, so still a way to go, but got a direction for my training to push towards now.

Talking of GPS devices, I know you're trying to avoid spending big bucks, but once you work with a Garmin the money seems inconsequential, if you're riding a lot and want to use all of the features for training tracking and route finding, it soon pays for itself. Although I would agree that £300 + for a unit is a lot, the fact I got my 800 at cost softened the blow.

22mph is good though! I managed just over that this week. Couple of weeks ago I managed 23mph, don't think I will go faster this season.

Hopefully room to improve for next year.

@Russinating - this is my club's TT route - http://www.strava.com/activities/67576722 quiet roads, all left turns.

Strava up to it's old tricks for me last night.

Did this segment: http://www.strava.com/activities/72896770#1436582467

Now I know I rode it pretty hard most of the way up Ayr road, but nearer 30kph/19mph not 35kph/22mph. Strava gave me 3rd and my average speed is a good bit higher than my max speed for the segment. Sure it looks nice to get 3rd on a segment, but not only is it undeserved, it also makes keeping track of PBs a bit of a mess.

C24's on the bike. Guess I should go ride the same loop as yesterday and check time diff and compare the hill segments or something. Evans proving again to be the bane of my ordering experience. Ordered Monday to collect at shop still not dispatched *sigh*

I had a similar thing on a hill segment due to gps drift. I wasn't satisfied until I'd gone out and smashed that time legitimately.

It's made me want to do exactly the same thing! Next week I'm going out and smashing it hard. I'll probably go faster and Strava will make me slower.

Anyone wear DHB jerseys?
how do they fit and which ones did you go for?
looking for a couple of cheap jerseys for the work ride as I'm getting a bit sweaty in the sun and can't wear the same one all week anymore :(
was looking at this but looks a bit baggy?

I'm not after castelli fit stuff and it needs to fit over what's left of my belly but I don't want it all flappy everywhere!

I have a DHB clip i think, relaxed not race fit and its not bad - its a medium but i could probably get away with a small (75kg 180cm)

I am in the same position as you so was thinking of getting a flouro one you linked to but no stock :(

If you are a BC member they have 15% odd Halfords online orders in August - just ordered a new front light and collecting it later on today!

I bought a couple of the old style plain colored Transit Short Sleeve Jerseys about a year ago. They have an updated version for about £20:

They are decent. Had no issues with them. Quite light weight, so good for summer but don't add much warmth on colder days. Fit isn't quite 'race' but it's reasonably neat. For £20 it's hard to complain. If you're on a budget they'll definitely do the job, but i'd much rather be wearing my Torm jerseys any day of the week.

Edit: you can still see a pic of the ones i got here:

Has anyone had any problems with Strava on android? when i record a ride, it says uploading, results ready, then click the link and the ride vanishes? its fine when i manual upload from my garmin tho
