You'd probably find the weight of the internal gear hub to be quite annoying. Although that said, there's a Di2 version of the Alfine hub, so it might be worth putting up with the weight for the joy of zero-maintenance. You wouldn't even need to muck around with that fiendish yellow dot as the electronic shifting would automatically adjust itself.hows this for all-year round commuter? would love one!
