Single speed.

Bars are level now.

I need to take new pictures of all my bikes. Might do that tonight.

I like that! i've got brakes on my SS now, had a quick ride to gym with it yesterday and it feels great tbh, so smooth and quiet right now.. and its yellow that just makes it tasteh.. :)

Damien does it every day on his commute. I've done it, but I don't like it much. Joining the roundabout is OK, but coming off on the other side while watching for cars joining from the left is a bit nerve-wracking...

it takes some getting used too.. when i commuted to my old work place i had to go round this massive roundabout and it took me a couple of weeks to get used to it and to force cars out of way - drivers for some reason refuse to accept the same maneuver that a car would do from a cyclists..

Ah yeah, I remember now. How's the Cervelo coming along?

Slow.

Wiggle sent the wrong fork (1 1/4" tapered instead of 1 1/8" straight) so I've had to return that.

Mrs A is out on a girls night out tonight so I'm going to see what I can get done this evening. Needs shifters and cabling so I'll do it on the current fork and leave a bit of excess cable for the new fork.

I'm changing the fork because I need to ad 30mm of spacers which just isn't possible with the current Wolf one.

I decided to reward myself for getting the new job with quantity rather than "quality".

I got 2 Torm jerseys and 2 Craft Elite bibs for slightly less than the price of a single Rapha Classic jersey and pair of Classic bibs.

On the one hand, I commend you for your purchasing acumen. On the other hand, image is everything, and Rapha is all about the image. Which Torm jerseys did you go for? They no longer have the T3 on their website :o

I ordered a T1 and T7. I already have a T2. All are black and white, size XS. I admit I didn't go for a ride in the Rapha jersey, but the few minutes I wore it in the changing room didn't convince me it was worth such a premium.

Similarly, I considered getting some Assos Mille or Castelli Bodypaint bibs but the Craft Elites seem to get good reviews and again because they are on sale I can get 2 pairs for the price of 1 of the expensive bibs.

yea it only takes a few clicks though and it's nice being able to see your previous times for a segment something I don't think strava does? atleast for non premium

It does. When you're looking at the leaderboard, on the left hand side there is a box for "My results" which shows all your times.

I was trying to catch some lycra boy yesterday (not on the qabove segment a much longer one) and slowly gaining they stopped to cross the road and I got closer lmfao it was a woman! looked like she wasn't even going at a high cadence too :(
I was going all out trying to catch her up :(

Haha, yeah, it happens. It's usually better to take your time catching up to them, then recover a bit, then go past. If you go all out trying to pass them in one go you'll usually end up knackered and stalling in front of them and looking like a wally :D

CRC have High5 Zero electrolyte tablets at 50% off (berry and citrus) at the moment (here). There's also a High5 Race Pack here for £7.99. Get quite a few bits:

Are the High5 any more pleasant to drink than the SiS Lemon ones?

Tried out the SiS tablets and bars on a ride yesterday for the first time, felt the effect was good but the taste wasn't great, bearable though.

Suppose at 3.99 it's worth a bash anyway!
