Veloviewer has taught me I'm in 1st place for this segment - http://veloviewer.com/segments/4410017/athlete/563545

It's quite easy to not notice that you get a KOM if the segment was created after you uploaded your ride. When it's created strava will retrospectively look through and add old rides to the leaderboard and you wont get any notification if this happens and you get a KOM.

my first go at our TT circuit
was just me, just a practice as im going to do it on Tuesday with the club
so I had a go of it today

Good effort for a first go, I bet you will also find you manage to go much faster when you know there is potential to catch or be caught :D good luck for Tuesday.

Thanks

im also taking the car, so I can leave all the accessories at home!

Climbing 600ft everyday on my commute is starting to take its toll on my clothes, I've had to throw away 2 pairs of jeans that no longer fit my thighs! (I don't wear jeans on my road bike just to clear that up!) Any recommendations for makes that are tree trunk thigh friendly?

Lol yep! I'm going to hear 'Waynes World, party time, excellent' every time I cycle through there now.

Glad I could be of service ;)

Just bought Axiom deluxe rack and a pair of vaude panniers and what a revelation!

I use a rack and panniers when I have to, but I still can't get used to the change in the centre of gravity. There are a few sweeping junctions on my route where I've nearly ended up in the kerb because the lower CoG makes it harder to tilt the bike over for the turn.

I would be interested in this. I can't find any trousers that fit me comfortably.

Looks like after 17,000 miles of the best the roads of Worcestershire, Warwickshire & The Costwolds has to offer,
the headset on my allez has finally given up.
Took the cap off the top of it this morning to have a look as there was quite abit of movement & it's full of metal filings. :D

Still any excuse for an upgrade, as it pretty much the last part of the bike which hasn't been done.
