Sure. I've also got brown leather (style) Deda bar tape going spare.

It was all bought for the Cotic before I decided I wanted a black Selle Rolls saddle and black bar tape followed.
I'd take that for the peugot if you don't want it.

It's garage sale time down at Chateau Asprilla.

I have a lot of stuff that I've bought. not used and thought 'I'll not send it back, I might use it later' and then it's sat there for months.

76.2 miles for me so far this week which I believe is a personal best for me as I usually only do 20-60 but thought it was probably time to try and up my miles :D

My hammers are dead though from riding 20+ miles 3 days in a row so I'll probably need a rest until Saturday :(

oh nice just checked on endomondo at my monthly miles since I bought a bike :D

going up gradually each month and completely shot up this month :D
average speed has barely changed though :( but my leg muscles are looking much bigger than when I started :)

I should have a look at all the low value items I want to shift and then list them for dibs.

If I'm giving them away does it have to be done in Members Market?
I'd imagine no one will care if your giving them away.
no one ever said anything to me when I gave my cycle computer away for what it cost to post (never actually charged the guy but him willing to do it was enough for me)

I don't think any mods post in here so likely non read it anyway :P

My commute last night was certainly interesting when about 3 miles from home my rear mud guard decided to unbolt itself and make the most horrendous sound as the rear wheel pushed it up and around itself, was decending at about 30mph as well which scared the crap out of me. must have woken a few people up at midnight, cue me cycling the rest of the way with it wrapped round my neck as I had no other place for it. Looked like i'd ram raided a bike shop.

lucky it wasn't your front mudguard in that case.

get some blue locktight on those bolts! or a cheaper equivalent , someone used to sell zap threadlock for 99p on ebay and they probably still do for cheap

You still looking to shift whichever Continental tyres you didn't like?

Dibsy them to Platypus. I've been trawling eBay and I think I've found another 70's plastic saddle to replace my split one.

Today was the day I built up my "new" bike - transferring a few parts across from my starter Viking San Remo frame to a new steel Ribble frame. I've kept only the 2300 shifters and front derailleur, and the Sora rear derailleur. I know 2300 isn't the be all and end all, but it functions well enough and this is a build on a budget.

Gone are the annoying cheap brakes with no quick release, and here to stay are better wheels, R451 brakes, pedals, bars, saddle, better BB, etc etc.

It was my first foray into anything more complicated than putting a new saddle on, so took most of the afternoon, but nothing creaks, clonks, grinds or falls off - so I'm happy.

Looks much nicer than the old Viking too :D

That's good going. I'v been taking bikes apart and putting them back together all my life and it still takes to longer than that to build a bike from a bare frame :p

Good for you. Looks like a nice job. Its a good feeling when you save yourself a good wedge of money by doing bike shop stuff for yourself. Not to mention the smug sense of achievement.

That's a lovely looking bike.

I have one piece of advice from my (MTB) commute home, don't try new routes in the dark. Took me 2.5 hours to get home tonight :)

got the jacket too! :) really nice bit of kit.. glad I took the medium! normally S but even medium is a bit tight around the back..
