I'm a bit of a merino addict.

Hi, was just trawling through this thread and see that you use a smartphone for cycling?
You got strava? I live around Newcastle so wondering if there are any sectors you have set-up in the area?
Hi,
I used to use my smartphone - now have a Garmin 705 so I don't use Strava I'm afraid.
. My only other option is go the shorter route on the main roads, which I don't love.

I really don't know how you guys commute every day in this weather you all must be well hard.

I find the weather at the moment a big frustrating as it's not properly cold yet, so if I dress to be comfortably warm mid ride, I'm freezing for the first couple of miles until I warm up.
If I dress to be warm from the start, I will be absolutely sweating buckets after a few miles!
Those are awesome, I will seriously consider saving up for some of them when they release.
Nonsense, absolute nonsense. Of the several lights I use, the only one that doesn't provide sighting is the little flashing eye light attached to my rucksack.Their website said:1) lighting - allows riders to safely navigate at night by illuminating their forward path.
2) sighting - increases the rider's front, back, and side visibility which signals their presence (i.e. i am a bike) and location to those sharing the road.
Currently no product on the market provides both lighting and sighting at a functionally high level.
