Sliding all over the place on the frosty lanes this morning. Please don't make me put my trail tyres back on :(. My only other option is go the shorter route on the main roads, which I don't love.

Previous best time - Roughly 19 mins

New best time - 15mins and 30 seconds.

Still not exactly brakeneck speed for 4 miles, but i do go over 3 roundabouts, several junctions and traffic lights (and i always follow the rules, no hopping on the pavement in traffic queues!). I do love this bike, it's actually MORE comfortable than my MTB now i'm used to it. Still getting sore palms, but nowhere near as much as before, but will likely replace my 110mm stem with a 100mm one.

Yes it's going to be a cold one tomorrow only 15mph winds so not to bad as long as they are behind me :p

Froze my ass off on Sunday and I had loads of layers on then it rained on me, had fun though :D I really don't know how you guys commute every day in this weather you all must be well hard. :)

Was bloodly freezing round my area on Sunday too.
Feet were numb, fingers were numb and it took me a good hour and a half to warm back up when I got home..
I had the fan heater on in my room to start with then shoved the fan heater on in the bathroom and the shower on and soaked under it for half an hour.
Ended up going to bed in the afternoon and I slept until tea time. :o
Think maybe I better order some winter gear now before I catch Pneumonia / Hypothermia. :o

I find the weather at the moment a big frustrating as it's not properly cold yet, so if I dress to be comfortably warm mid ride, I'm freezing for the first couple of miles until I warm up.

If I dress to be warm from the start, I will be absolutely sweating buckets after a few miles!

Well it was 0 degrees on the cycle in this morning. That's plenty cold for me..

I want them just to stand still and look cool as ****!

I hope they are light, excuse the pun, as something that far from the hub would fell pretty obvious if it was a little heavy.

Those are awesome, I will seriously consider saving up for some of them when they release.

Why? Overpriced and whilst they may be effective there is plenty around at a considerably cheaper cost that does just as well.

Their website said:
1) lighting - allows riders to safely navigate at night by illuminating their forward path.

2) sighting - increases the rider's front, back, and side visibility which signals their presence (i.e. i am a bike) and location to those sharing the road.

Currently no product on the market provides both lighting and sighting at a functionally high level.
Nonsense, absolute nonsense. Of the several lights I use, the only one that doesn't provide sighting is the little flashing eye light attached to my rucksack.
