Tubs and tub tape bought. Oh what am I letting myself into?

Just gone for some budget Contis to start with. I'll probably shred them so best to start with something cheap ans supposedly tough?

The guy on the phone said, I would be able to login by Monday. But as soon as I mentioned Pro Cycling magazine, his tone changed, and he sounded a bit puzzled. I'll wait till Monday and see if I can get in.

these seem really really cheap?

You can't go wrong with conti's, you won't need 80mm valves unless you're running deep section rims.

I agree. 3.50 is not particularly cheap for a tube. Decathlon have them for £2 i think. I would buy those but there isn't a decathlon near me. I usually buy boxes of 10 from crc which work out around 2.50 each.

The valves can sometimes be a bit sticky when you inflate them but it's a minor inconvenience vs the cost saving. I don't bother repairing these and just chuck a new one in when I puncture.

This. Have loads of Decathlon tubes.

Also, lovely bike.

If I want to hit 10,000 miles this year I have to do 29 a day for the rest of the year. Should be do able providing the weather stays on side.
