This. Have loads of Decathlon tubes.

Also, lovely bike.

If I want to hit 10,000 miles this year I have to do 29 a day for the rest of the year. Should be do able providing the weather stays on side.

Similar here but realistically there will be days where I don't cycle so I'm going to have to get a good few 70+ days in too I think.

Yeah but the guy basically said find your own TT bike for less than £1k and they'll see if they'll supply it.

Tredz is an approved supplier along with the ones I mentioned above (& JE James) but that's the only TT bike under £1k

Fleece bibtights here for £13.50 (using code TENOFFTENN)

Never heard of Tenn before, but at that price it's worth a try to see what it's like.

have their shorts.. pad is a very meh

Not heard of them, the pad looks very 'chinese' (ie rubbish!).

DHB Active Thermal bib tights are £15 atm (50% off sale). If you know your DHB sizing they're a much better buy (tried & tested!) ;)

My weekend antics are going to consist of digging the hybrid out the garage, giving it a little service and then deciding what I need (+ order) to get it mounted on my turbo... May even have a blast on it as it's got semi-road tyres atm but that will involve reconfiguring the fit as similar as I can get to my road bikes fit!

Family & taxi'ing around the midlands for most of saturday followed by fireworks so fingers crossed the weather decides to behave on sunday...!

I've got a pair of their "pro" bib shorts. The pads nothing special, but it's fine for a few hours, and they were only about £20.

I don't get on with dhb bibs at all, no matter what size I go for they sag at the back. The rest of their stuff fits well, but not the bib shorts.

Year-to-Date
Distance 3,586.2 mi
Time 218h 51m
Elev Gain 165,686 ft
Rides 84

My year stopped in August when I broke four vertebrae in a crash in the Alps but wasnt a bad year including JOGLE and London to Paris 24hr! Broken back is healing well and physio has told me I can get back on the turbo now but it'll be 3-4 months unitl I can ride on the road. Physio is a cyclist/ironman so says you may aswell use this downtime to work on something specific and said I really need to get on the turbo as it'll be a shame to let all my leg muscle away in the next four months!
Welcome to Indoor Suffering - going to be so boring!!

I'm due for a ride out tomorrow morning - Shaley Brow, Orrell, Mawdesley, Parbold, Haigh, home. The weather is not looking promising. If it's properly wet I think we'll have to give Shaley a miss, which is a shame.

Yeah decent route that. The NCC do a route over towards Parbold and stop at a café at the Delph Diving Centre (near Wrightington). Theres a cool short descent near Roby Mill which is a good laugh, got to 65 km/h on there the other weekend and the Appley Bridge climb is actually fairly tame on the other side. My next ventures going further a field will be to Rivington (which I hope you'll show me when the weather is decent? :) ) and further north of Parbold (between Southport and Preston).

I think I'm going to abandon any plans to go cycling on Saturday if the weather continues like today. MAYBE Sunday.

Its so dark outside now, had all my clothes drying on the radiators at work (much to some disapproval! haha!). Shoes are still a bit damp, despite having overshoes on, but the last 10 minutes of my commute was an utter deluge :( One note of positivity though, my cycling cap keeps a fair amount of the rain off my glasses so I can at least see to a safe degree in the wet and dark!

My year so far, pretty weak compared to some of you guys!

Code:
                        Cycling Running
Total distance 2,707.1 mi 461.5 mi
Total elevation climbed	128,280 ft 23,158 ft
Total time 152 hrs 10 min 63 hrs 36 min
Number of activities	130 97

Weak?! Pffft! You've doubled mine and I'm a commuter!

You're about the only one with any running stats though! (P.S. loved reading your blog a few weeks ago, really inspiring! Maybe a little too much as making me considering doing some running & swimming next year!) ;)

Fair point on the DHB stuff, I find the Large 90% fits me in everything DHB, the legs are a little long but I've always had that problem with any trousers! At least now my waist is smaller I might be able to find some 28" length jeans lol ;)

Lots of things on the Tenn site look like good buys... But without knowing the quality or seeing and reviews that's a big no from me!

Glad to hear you're still healing well, reading many other horror stories really puts things into perspective - every cycling forum has them! You were very lucky to get the physio you have as he instantly knows what exercises and muscles need the work to rehabilitate you! Chin up, turbo is still some 'freedom'! :)
