I ordered one today. I've currently got some cheapo Muddyfox jacket from Sports Direct which isn't particularly waterproof or windproof, so anything will be an improvement!

Im going to order one, what do you normally wear under a top like this - a generic base layer? (have plenty of footy ones)

Yeah I usually wear footy base layers as they seem cheaper than ones for cycling despite being the same thing!

Reviews seem generally positive, but some moan it's not breathable enough and others say the fit is a bit baggy. For less than half the original price I don't think I'll be complaining. I went for Small though.

My thoughts exactly.

Im confused on size, im a Medium in DHB stuff but the sizing chart on wiggle puts me in Large - was going to go for the Large but not sure now

Seems it's jacket buying time, I went for the dhb EQ2.5, I got it for £39 (vat free price, in the sale + extra-10 code)

For the price it's brilliant quality, although I bought the XL, it was tagged as an XL, came in a bag stating XL but the sewn in label states "Small", no wonder it was a snug fit! I sent it back for the XL today so should have it early next week, just hope the rain holds off until then!

No, fortunately, just wobbly. Really wobbly :p. Did almost see a child die though when it ran out from between parked cars in front of a very not-parked 4x4. No joke.

On another subject, I'm trying to find for my interest a LEJOG route map on Strava/Endomondo/MapMyRide or similar, but all as one rather than split up into that individual person's days. Can even be driven, don't care, just interested to see the route all together.

Dunno if this is the right place for this, but it seems like its spiritual home.

A picture of a struggling Cav and a easy training ride for Wiggo in all it's glory on the Stoke Stage of the Tour of Britain.

I took this at the top of Beat Lane which is a nasty climb only a few miles after the dreaded Gun Hill. They had about 21k left to do and were only about 7 minuted behind the leaders.

Great day of action, watched them off not far from the start in Trentham and then road about 22 miles up through Biddulph Moor to catch them latter in the day. :)

I ordered an XL based on the fact I wear XL cycling jerseys, hopefully it won't be too tight fitting though.

Hummmmm I really don't know which size to order. The jacket I was wearing last winter is a size L. It's not even fully waterproof. The long sleeve jersey/jacket I wear is a size L. They both fit fine. The leg and arm warmers I ordered last week are size S. They fit fine. I have a couple of short sleeve jerseys which are size S. They fit fine.

In a conundrum! Leaning towards M or L. And ideas?
