Any reason? My front light does both but I always opt for a flashing light as it's more noticeable. Steady lights can 'merge' with other vehicles' lights, especially to pedestrians' peripheral vision and driver's rear view mirror.

I'm not sure the reasoning, but its in The Road Vehicle Legislation Act of 1989:

The Road Vehicle Lighting Regulations said:
13.—(1) Save as provided in paragraph (2), no vehicle shall be fitted with a lamp which automatically emits a flashing light.

(2) Paragraph (1) does not apply in respect of–
(a)a direction indicator;
(b)a headlamp fitted to an emergency vehicle;
(c)a warning beacon or special warning lamp;
(d)a lamp or illuminated sign fitted to a vehicle used for police purposes;
(e)a green warning lamp used as an anti-lock brake indicator; or
(f)lamps forming part of a traffic sign.

All the Boris bikes have flashing front and rear lights so I'm sure it's OK. I tend to use a flashing light at dusk and a steady light at night, as I think the flashing stands out better in slightly better light conditions.

EH2009449 is the correct part - I have recently purchased two of them for my Mars 3.0, so I know that it's the right one. I also have two mounts for the previous version of the Mars 3.0 (http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=19048) in case anybody wants them (and I can find them

I'd be interested to see that if you get the chance. The only thing that's putting me off is the price, but on the other hand it's better at putting out peripheral light that any torch.

My wife bought me a Garmin Cervelo Team Jersey for our Wedding Anniversary and it doesn't fit!

It seems to be a tighter cut then other jerseys I have of the same size. Going to have to return it and see if they can exchange it...*sniff*

Made by Castelli so it's italian sizing. You need to go one or two sized up.

All of my bibs are Castelli, but this was my first jersey so difficult to gauge. I don't wish the jersey was bigger, I wish I was thinner!

Hmm in all seriousness if you can't return it I'd be interested. Depending on size of course, I can get away with going up one size in Castelli.

I've given up on Castelli; I find there is very little consistency in their sizing with some small bibs being fine whilst others are transparent once on and I find that I actually need a large.

They're my favourite manufacturer by far though. The quality is superb.

Slipping into Castelli gear is like having your suit fitted by a proper old school Italian tailor, rather than a Marks and Spencer fitting room attendant. You get your inside leg felt, and feel more embarrased at the fact that you liked the smoothness of his touch, than you do the fact that some old suave gentleman got too close with his tape measure.

Actually I tried on some Untouched World Ecovelo bibs the other day. They. felt. amazing.

It's a pity I was just after some cheap shorts and couldn't justify £140.

No I've worn assos in the past, I genuinely prefer Castelli. Just as well given the price difference!
