Hadn't touched my road bike since early July. So went out today and did 100 miles with 7000ft of climbing. Beautiful day for it :)

eh? explain please because i have no idea if that's a make or just an observation? lol

Magicshineuk is amaufacturer / website for bike lights. The originally started selling straight from China on eBay but now have a UK presence.

However, other Chinese manufacturers have copied their designs and sell on eBay. Their lights are very bright and score highly in tests.

I hate them because the beam pattern blinds oncoming riders bu t I've recently been told that you can get an adding lens which dips the beam.

Have a look on the specialized site and see if you have one of the saddle bg fit centers near you - I really like my specialized saddle so have one on both bikes and that was just luck rather than a proper fit!!

There is one in Sydney, so 250km away or so.

Have swapped with my Boardman MTB saddle for now and will see if that is any better.

Me and a mate managed to do a 25 mile ride at 18mph average on saturday which i was quite please with because we had a few heavy traffic sections, and then knocked out a 40 mile ride yesterday at a comfortable 16mph average. Nice weekends riding.

Do you know where you can get the lens from?

I'm using a magicshine clone and while it's nice and bright it would be good to be able to dip the beam, thanks.

Well the bad weather over the last couple of weeks has absolutely battered my bike. Living outside has trashed the steel so I need to get it repainted asap. The silt kicked up off the road has trashed my rims and brake pads and the chain has washed completely dry. Bottom bracket feels like it's full of debris because it's grinding under pressure. Time for a rebuild on my poor steed I think.

I guess I need to decide on a colour scheme. Groupset is early 90's Shimano so I can't really go for that classic steel frame style. I'm sort of tempted to do a leery 90's paintjob in purple with paint splat highlights :p

finally got my triban 3! :)

kinda hard to ride it - im so used to bmx! :)

gears also need a lot of adjusting, played around but it still touches the front derailleur if im in 8th gear in the back and 1/2/3rd in the front its ok.. but as soon as i go to "Granny" gear it touches the front derailleur, how would i adjust that?
