as I've said dude IMO you're 10ish kg underweight..why the heck would you want to get lighter?
Speaking of bodyweight, I can't seem to drop below 59kg for any amount of time. I can for a bit but then I feel a bit weak and my appetite seems to go into overdrive so I eat myself back up to 59-60kg.
Does this mean realistically I can't maintain a weight lower than 59kg or do I somehow need to discipline myself not to pig out (and improve my diet)? I don't want to be light to the point where I'm weakened by it.

Hopefully they never get put to the test.I don't think losing weight will really affect your power levels, look at the pros for instance. They'll be going into a 3 week tour at 3 or 4% bodyfat. Your energy levels will probably be affected by eating less food but I don't think your body composition will have a major impact.

How can you tell that I'm underweight if you've never met me! I'd be fat if I was 70kg!
Anyway, being lighter is beneficial to both cycling and rock climbing.
