If you've been riding it and the bikes not thrown you off then the wheel is only buckled and can be fixed by retruing the wheel/spokes. Any LBS can do this.

You can also get your cranks rethreaded, or at least looked at. Just make sure you take your Shimano pedals at the same time and they'll tell you of any issues/compatibility, they may even fit them free of charge.

I've ordered up a set a shimano rs11 wheelset so I'll just get them replaced so i can get back on the road again sooner rather than later.

As for the crank / pedals I'll suffer with my original pedals for now and either look at a replacement crank down the line or just save the pedals for my next bike :p

Arione R3 is awesome, I have one on race bike.
I am buying a 2nd hand (as new) ArioneR1 tomorrow from a local bloke to upgrade.
Tritone on the TT bike.

In what way is it broken? I'd probably have to give it a check on a 100 miler to get an idea of how comfortable/uncomfortable it is. Cheers for the offer - may take you up on it :)

I've gone through quite a few saddles in my quest to find the perfect one. So welcome to have the ones I don't use to see if they're a better fit. Let me know if you're interested and I'll list what I have available.

I always love reading Roady's posts, makes great use of the Stava analysis :p
Haha, I like to look back through them and quite like 'reporting' on my rides. Did start a blog but got bored of it and just post here :p

The carbon is broken across the middle, means the saddle flexes from side to side more than it should and probably more lateral flex when sitting heavily (what's probably broken it). Was considering just keeping it for a turbo bike but won't have a dedicated one for a while yet.

Same. To start with I wanted to just be flash and have a fancy one, but after riding the Arione I'm not sure I even want to try another make/model...:rolleyes:

For those interested in going to see parts of Stage 3 of the ToB, the provisional timings have been released:

I'm probably going to take the day off work, but not sussed out where I will go to see them.

I've got the day booked off work. I've got an imperial route planned that goes up the brickworks, Goyt valley, cat and fiddle (closed roads, y0, so no risk of speeding idiots if the timing fits) and then back to tatton. Now that the timings are out I can work out the practicalities of where to watch and whether it's possible, say, to catch it at one point and then make it to the finish line.

FT said he might be up for it as well.

About your fizik saddle. Did you look at the whole "Spine Concept" stuff? Or just picked a saddle you thought would be comfy?
'Spline Concept' is basically your hip flexibility as all it really looks at is if you can touch your toes, then the 'type' of riding to determine how firm you need. It recommended 'Bull' for me as I wasn't very flexible then. I knew flexibility wasn't my main concern - my big thighs and saddle rub was, so I went for the narrowest I could find - a second hand Arione (£55). I would've also settled for an Antares and may try one in future.

Side note: my flexibility is loads better now I've lost weight, I can nearly get my palms flat on the floor with straight legs. I previously struggled to grab my toes.

Any more routes/timings released? Ideally I want Builth Wells (stage finish) and passing through Gloucester (where I'm planning on riding out to). I think stages 7 & 8?
Distance selling regulations innit.
