Just rotate the chain so the missing link is at the top. Then stand over the bike, clip in one foot, hold the brakes so you don't move forward and put your weight down on the pedal. Should pop in then.

I have given this a go, but can't remember if the missing link was on top or not., will give it another go tomorrow. To be honest I'm in no rush as the bike has no rear wheel currently! :D (well one that can be used on the road)

I have some KMC 9 speed ones that work perfect, but presume these are slightly too wide?

You can buy special pliers to do/undo KMC/SRAM links.

Here you go. £9, which isn't bad.

Michelin Lithion 2 any good? Reviews are good... For the price...

Want to know how they compare to GP 4000 or Pro 4 Endurance which seem to be going up in price, $55 now each!

My first proper 10 this evening, only done circuit TTs before now. 22:14 on G10/42, quite a hilly course for a DC one. Annoyingly didn't have time to switch to my deep sections, and only had an Evade on as my proper aero helmet strap has broken. Not really sure how much both of those are worth, but seemed quick conditions nonetheless.

Paced it badly going out at 350w which had I been feeling fresh I think I could have potentially held, but legs seem to still be fatigued from the 56mile TT I did Sunday, so watts fell throughout the last half of the ride to 317w average overall.

Its days like today i realise why i love cycling so much! Warm, sunshine and no wind and several new Strava PB's too!

AMAZING! :)

Yeah. I've booked the afternoon off and hopefully getting a metric in. Though I'm tempted to take it a bit easy and just do ~40 to Tatton Park and back.

In other news I managed 20.7mph average to work this morning, woot. It's only 4 miles though :p

Nice 26 miles last night, didn't really have a proper route in mind and with only a garmin 500 I got pretty lost, all the time, resulting in me pulling over and checking Google Maps fairly often..!

They're obviously not going to be as good as tyres costing two or three times the price, but they are very good for what you pay for them. They're fairly soft so grip well but they're not overly prone to punctures. They're fairly light. I like them, I'd definitely buy them again.

Doesn't sound too bad, I need chamois cream but need to spend $50 or $80 for free shipping!

Will think about it before ordering!

Should have come on the Chaingang. We had a huge turnout and most were in a steady group.
