Sorry I know this has probably been asked before, best place for tubes?

Have Conti's in at the moment, 700 x 18-25 (I think, as I have a 23 tyre), not sure on the valve length.

Happy to buy 5-10 if need be.

Wiggle have them for about £3.50 (cheaper than I thought...):

Edit:

Not sure what the difference is?

done! had them for months, never had a problem :)

Trying to modify a headset to fit my Russian bike. Crown race needs opening up.

Yeah, nothing can go wrong here!

This wasn't going to work. 95kg 3-jaw chuck mounted vertically on a welded steel frame, no probs, but soft / easily mangled alloy part vs 30cm long reamer with 45cm tap wrench on the end was only going to end badly.

I sent it down to the workshop instead. One of the guys is going to stick it in a collet on the lathe and spin the inside out for me.

On the other bike I've switched to drop bars while the track bike is off the road, but I need more reach. Picked up this 90's Cinelli mega-length stem on eBay and stripped the anodising off it last night. 140mm long! Superman position is still legal, right?

Just rotate the chain so the missing link is at the top. Then stand over the bike, clip in one foot, hold the brakes so you don't move forward and put your weight down on the pedal. Should pop in then.

I'd kind of assume that was what he was doing already...

Sorted, it was because the link was on the down part! Would have thought I would have checked it after the amount of times I've changed a chain! :D

Its days like today i realise why i love cycling so much! Warm, sunshine and no wind and several new Strava PB's too!

AMAZING! :)

It's raining in Glasgow this afternoon. :( At least yesterday was a rare dry commute.

Nice!

Yep, used these too, absolutely fine.

Yup, i've been running those dirt cheap lifeline tubes for a while now. I've actually had way less issues with them than i did with the Conti ones.

Managed an average of 19.6mph over a flat 50 miles. A new PB by some margin (not including closed road events). Pretty happy with that :)

I was planning on going for a metric century but I ran out of food and drink so I'm taking a lunch break and then cycling home via a berler shop at very slow speeds :p

How much holiday do you have? You always seem to be taking time off to ride!

29 days plus a couple of days closure over Xmas and of course bank holidays. Tbh I don't really book long holidays off much - so I can afford to have lots of days here and there.

Tempted to head out but legs are feeling a bit tired after the 40 miles yesterday and the 16 miles to work and back today, hm!

Hopefully the weather stays this good for a while...

Get out and make the most of it - you won't regret having been riding today if the weather stays nice tomorrow but you'll regret having not ridden if the weather turns sucky :)

Cold, raining. Still got out. Made it 500m before deciding that the weather was too bad and my knee was still sore. Been full of a cold this week but trying to do steady km still. Got until Tuesday off the bike to recover now after only doing 100k this week.

Not sure what I've done, hurts when pressing hard like putting the clutch in on the car but my knee started to feel sore late last week... :(
