We're closing our office soon so working from home, this frees up 3hrs a day for me. Looking forward to getting some miles in this summer:D

Will you still have a jerb at the end of some period?
I got made redundant and had to work from home from October > End of March. I hated it. But then I didn't really go out on my bike because I'm an idiot.

OneMoreSolo has got them cheaper in the past. You just need to keep an eye on the site - I did a quick check day for about a week or so.

Yep, bargains to be had, especially in the autumn. Unfortunately I'm now after a weird size (165mm cranks or shorter for my TT bike) so resigned to either a long wait or paying full whack. Been checking for weeks now and nothing has come up.

I'm betting you have first hand experience of switching to shorter cranks? Is it something you'd recommend trying out? I'm currently on 172.5 and my knees do hit my chest when I use the drops so I hardly ever use them. What were you on before dropping to 165? 170? I'd probably only want to drop to 170...

I'm wondering: I have a Praxis Works Turn Zayante chainring on my bike. Could I take the chainrings off that and use them with a Power2Max?!

Hmm, thinking about it, my knees get pretty close to my chest when I'm om the drops. I'm on 170 cranks.

It looks like a 5-bolt design so I imagine you could.

I'm riding 170 on my road bike which seems good, but more to keep my hip angle open rather than knee clearance. The drop to your drops ( :p ) must be pretty big for that to be an issue? Maybe compact bars would be a good trial option?

I'll probably not go shorter than that on my road bike as small cranks do feel a bit odd out of the saddle.

Scott speedster s30 with105 crank on local selling page for 350 maybe get it for 300 , sounds good ? More bike for less.
Or get new ?

Can't really believe this but I went for a ride after work and I bonked after 20 km. Full on bonked. 15 km later I was home but I was shaking slightly and could barely take my gloves off. That's not normal(!).

I've had this in the past. Usually it's after a few days of riding without eating enough (i.e. when I'm on a cut).

I've had it happen once or twice completely randomly too. Always worrying but I'm sure you'll be fine in a day or so :)

Yep I did within an hour and I have a video... no witnesses that I have details for besides number plates. Don't think he realised I had a camera on...

It is pretty crazy that these days a camera is almost a must have :(

I wouldn't want one stuck on my head but I was half tempted by a Garmin Virb when I saw one for £75.

I just looked, and it's the standard Praxis Works 110 BCD 50-34 chainrings. So it should work! Ha, amazing!

Driver that knocked me off my bike denied any involvement in any accident to his insurance company. Fun.

Hope the scumbag gets what he deserves. Glad you've got video footage now that he's lied!
