I don't own *any* long sleeve jerseys. I make do with a base layer of sorts, arm warmers and a normal short sleeved thin jersey. I think I might invest in a gabba-esque thing.

Thanks, grabbed one of the Fiandre, I've only really got one long sleeve jersey, don't tend to need them too often down here, get by with baselayer shortsleeve jersey and arm warmers majority of the time, but love my Gabba.

They have medium in the Fluro colour. Just ordered... hopefully I can squeeze into it.

Roady, you're making us all spend money! :p

Yes! My Sportful children are spreading! Mwhahahaha! Shame I don't get commission :p

The R & D I own is Large so I'm fairly sure their 'jacket' types I'm a Large fit and couldn't squeeze into a Medium. If it was a normal 'jersey' type I might chance it. Sizing is marginally more relaxed than Castelli, but not much. Some Castelli Large are baggy on me, some are tight!

Cool. I figured it's free returns so I might as well try it.

Truth is I have a dilemma for this kinda weather (10-16 degrees but cold/strong winds). My Windproof jerseys (DHB ASV Roubaix, Windslam Blade and Sportful R&D) are just a bit too warm for after work/weekend efforts. My non-windproof jerseys (DHB Macro Roubaix, Sportful thermal) are better providing the wind is cool enough. For less windy days where I want my arms covered or windier warmer weather I need some lighter (non-roubaix) windproof options. Windproof gilet over short sleeve and arm warmers is good but cold shoulders/cooked arms is getting tiresome already....

I think the problem is I don't own many 'normal' long sleeve jerseys! :)

I bought myself a Perfetto for this weather (other's are available, but I love my LS Gabba). It's intended for those warmer days, but with wind. I also have a Fawesome vest, which works to keep the bulk of the wind off your body.

I wore a SS jersey, baselayer, Fawesome and arm and knee warmers last weekend. It was very windy, but the only part of me that was cold were my toes (sorted now, so thanks ;) )

There is a 20% off bibs code going round at the mo. Doesn't work for Core though.

BIB-751N-2BE5-E598

.

I grabbed the pro team and aero jersey bundle and then applied the 15% off for the monuments they've been chucking around. Just waiting on my aero jersey to be returned in the correct size as I ordered a large to bag then discount then returned it for smaller size when the small black one was in stock. They're doing another comp for LBL this weekend so suspect the 15% is available once you enter.

Beautiful day. Got out for a quick 50 around one of my usual super flat routes on country lanes. I felt pretty rough at the start and even considered turning back 10 miles in  but I stuck with it simply to enjoy the awesome sunshine.

I'm fairly happy with that average given how bad I felt. The wind picked up for the last few miles too so I ended up having to give it a bit of welly.

Just striped my front mech of because of excessive rub after trying almost everything...

How's it looking? Is it damaged :(

It was a quick 50. Nice one! Wasn't tempted by some climbs then? :p

I planned a route this morning that went up the Brickworks and through the Goyt but then I thought...nah :p I'm also going to do some hills on Sat so taking it a bit easier today seemed like a plan :)

edit: @slipd - looks okay to me but I'm not a bike mechanic...I think some are so hopefully they'll be along to comment. Based on my experiences with setting up FDs though it could very easily be fine despite all the issues you've had. They can be a pain in the arse.
