My Aldi didn't really have much of interest. Was semi tempted by a merino base layer for the winter but the one I've got will just about hold together for one more year I reckon.
What you on about?
Just ordered load of junction boxes using price match and one of the new batteries with the wireless tech. Just need shifters and cables now. Probably measure up tomorrow, will purchase my extension ones first then get the brakes next year as it'll be going on the turbo week after next. Been an expensive night as ordered a cassette for my new wheel which I'm picking up tomorrow.
During the proper winter I'll be moving to my second bike which I don't look after whatsoever. 105 and Spyres, so it's good enough, but I don't wanna trash my steelie with di2 on the snowy days with grit on the roads!
Cheers all. All done and such. Waiting in the ward so I can escape home.
Grim. Hope it all went ok though and glad you got the surgery.
Dude, I feel you, it must be the most dull thing in the world. I'd be going mental. Hope you get out soon.
It's Baltic here. I can't wait for my new Gore gloves to arrive.
You should get a deal mate, just get one...
Too soon?
I went for these: http://www.bike-discount.de/en/buy/gore-bike-wear-universal-windstopper-r-gloves-543339
I wanted bright (I wear mainly black most the time, crap lighting round here so I've got bright gloves, overshoes and new jacket) and padded, too. A lot of the ones I'd seen looked warm but lacked the padding of my fingerless mavics.
Christ, yea, that's 45quid today. Wounding. Might be able to find a cheaper GBP price.
Do you have a trainer? You'd be fine on one. Not sure about being out on the road
When's it scheduled for? Hopefully it's a nice simple recovery and lucky it's not a leg injury
Winter is coming, as some might say. Only means one thing. A stupid ride out to Southport in the worst weather imaginable and with inadequate equipment. I can tell you are looking forwards to it as much as me.
