Road Cycling

Just ordered load of junction boxes using price match and one of the new batteries with the wireless tech. Just need shifters and cables now. Probably measure up tomorrow, will purchase my extension ones first then get the brakes next year as it'll be going on the turbo week after next. Been an expensive night as ordered a cassette for my new wheel which I'm picking up tomorrow.

So...what's the price match for the junction boxes? :p

As I want a specific model of caliper I'm looking at bike-discount.de for my calipers and levers from CRC (with BC discount) atm. Was tempted by the battery from b-d.de to fold it in to the same order for delivery purposes.

Annoyingly Wiggle ran out of stock of the exact lever + caliper combo I wanted this morning. I tried to order their last one last night but for some reason my card was playing up :/

During the proper winter I'll be moving to my second bike which I don't look after whatsoever. 105 and Spyres, so it's good enough, but I don't wanna trash my steelie with di2 on the snowy days with grit on the roads!

Noob. It'll be fine. When have either of us come off in grit or ice conditions?

You should get a deal mate, just get one... :p

Too soon?

I went for these: http://www.bike-discount.de/en/buy/gore-bike-wear-universal-windstopper-r-gloves-543339

I wanted bright (I wear mainly black most the time, crap lighting round here so I've got bright gloves, overshoes and new jacket) and padded, too. A lot of the ones I'd seen looked warm but lacked the padding of my fingerless mavics.

50 euros?! That's like £300 these days.

edit: Temptation to just get on the bike is high tbh :p

Winter is coming, as some might say. Only means one thing. A stupid ride out to Southport in the worst weather imaginable and with inadequate equipment. I can tell you are looking forwards to it as much as me.

Well.. I should be back on my bike in November so after a couple of weeks making sure that my shoulder doesn't fall off on longer rides I could be up for a trip. I might even have proper winter gear this time :p
