Road Cycling

Kinda, but then they're so powerful I'm kinda stopped! ;)

The braking noises are fine, it's the noises when I'm not even braking (just riding through water) that are my main issue...!

Noise from braking (wet or otherwise) is, as Solid pointed out, an issue with the pad compound, contaminants or a combination of the two.

Noise when not braking is a pad rub issue or something unrelated like I found with my squeaky hub seals for example.

Bleeding them won't fix either of these things and is only worth doing if the lever has lost feel because you are squashing bubbles of air when you apply the brakes.

You already have the updated battery don't you?

I've always just plugged bikes in at work or use the pc1e but wireless would be cool for the likes of the IA10 with its internal junction A.

Yep! Not got my own charger but borrowed one. Gonna give it a go tomorrow. Still need to buy extension shifters! Will see how it goes and figure if d fly is worth it but due to internal wireless will make it massively easier.

That feeling when the weather is fair enough today not to have to spend 3hr indoors on the turbo tomorrow  and I can switch my sessions around and 'only' spend a measly 1.5hrs instead \o/ also meaning I can have a lay in :D

Got soaked earlier. Bloody British weather. Beautiful sunshine now. Going out with a new club tomorrow morning as away for weekend. Be interesting to see the differences.

Should have gone prepared, and with a bike suitable for UK weather.

When I go out cycling in the rain I stay perfectly dry. Should have proper gear and bike not go out in jeans and cotton shirt lol

Is this guy for real?

Ok - I'll rise to the bait.....

What's your problem?? Even skim reading this and other cycling threads your responses are nothing but sarcastic, inflammatory and down right pathetic.

If you've nothing sensible to add to a thread, don't bother.

well did you take your waterproof gear with you? Like top to bottom?
Do you have a bike with full length mudguards?

Or do you go cycling on a road bike (no guards) and with no waterproof clothing?

Winner for the stupidest thing I've read this year. Thumbs up

Yeah exactly.
I did the Cheshire Cat Sportive a couple of years ago on the same day as a storm was passing through. Despite having some of the best wet clothing gear available, 20 mins into the ride I was soaking through.

Unless he rides inside a plastic air bubble :p
