FML...just been asked if I'm interested in a sportive in June, 80 miles. Yes I say, turns out its £88. EIGHTY EIGHT QUID! No thanks.
Got a small hole in my bibshorts where its been rubbing against the seat.
Anyone know of a good way to seal it? Ideally some sort of patch that I can stick on top.
sorry to hear that Merlin, was this a bike accident ?
ive been itching for 2 years, nearly 3 !
things are chaining this year, im switching to get my injection done privately now, rather than miss another summer ! so fingers crossed ill be back on the bike (be it slow pace and a couple of miles) within the next 4 weeks
winter/commuter needs new tyres, so i'm giving the Wiggle Lifeline Armour prime a whirl. Seem to get good reviews.
Great news! Steady does it!so fingers crossed ill be back on the bike (be it slow pace and a couple of miles) within the next 4 weeks

Find a local seamstress and get a proper job done.
Great shout, thanks!Just a heads up to people... Wiggle have upped their loyalty discount to 17% for Platinum customers (I saw someone mention if they wiggle normally up their discounts around this time)
Damn, what happened to you?!
This is really embarrassingly un-dramatic but I honestly have absolutely no clue how I did it. Over the course of a couple of days I'd be waking up feeling a bit sore and stiff around my lower back and right hand side of my hip, tried to stretch it out - it got worse, tried to stretch it out even more - it got even worse, went to see a physio and within 24 hours I could hardly walk. Next thing I'm on codeine and diazepam.
I wouldn't mind so much if I knew what I'd actually done!
Isn't that what club jerseys are for?My overwhelming concern with the club run numbers is that it looks suspiciously like a race number and the last thing cyclists needs is more grief from motorists for treating the road "like we're in the bloody Tour de France". It also looks a bit try hard, if you want to enter a race then do it...
That said, a bike marker of some sort is not a bad idea for encouraging people to join but I would suggest a subtle seattube decal or something similar. Would still be obvious on a club run who is and isn't a member.
£1.10 a mile loooool. You could drive it cheaper.FML...just been asked if I'm interested in a sportive in June, 80 miles. Yes I say, turns out its £88. EIGHTY EIGHT QUID! No thanks.

Now if only they had the element bolt in stock...
If this is true then I should probably remove the KickR from my wishlist...
