Road to the BNBF Welsh Qualifiers 2011 - Progess Journal

Brilliant write up mate and glad to see it's a much more positive one than yesterdays :)
I'm looking forward to following you're journey through to next year :D

I havent posted in this thread up til now, and wouldn't have had I not kept seeing the blue screen pop up on the ipad in front of me :D but wanted to come and say well done anyway.

Having been there watching yesterday (was supporting Desmo's wife) Steedie you should be very proud of yourself. :)

Great write up Steedie :)

Glad I could help out a little on the day, but just remeber that you did all the hard work, both in the build up and in getting your backside on stage....TWICE :D

Desmo/Steedie,

I took more photos than I thought so it's taking me ages to go through and crop/adjust them.

Will try and get them up for you tomorrow night.

Can you both email me again and I will send you links once done. :)

Well done man, despite not getting to the weight class you wanted.

Good luck on future endeavours should you continue to pursue doing this, although I'd do it because you want to, not to make up for "failure" of this time and bear in mind the struggles with work/life it's caused you!

P.s. I want to see homo pics.... Wait wut.

More because the first one is drenched in sweat after pre judging :p

Thanks guys, shame it appears I forgot to tense my legs in the FDB, but I'm pleased with that shot and it's the one I've chosen for the print

Steedie, if I was to offer you any advice (and please feel free to ignore me as I am a noob LOL) it would be to try and tense all the time.

I know this is most likely very hard to do as you will be cramping up due to lack of water but one thing I noticed about all the winners was they never relaxed and always kept their stomach tensed.

Yeah looking at the few photos I have it's that I'm only ever tensing the muscle groups that are the focus of the pose.

It's so easy when you're at home practising, but as soon as you go on stage and you have a million other things going through your head, it's so easy to forget, and I guess that's one thing I'll take with me in to the next show. Legs are the hardest as it's just tensing them all the time, so when you're not, it's easy to forget to do it again

Also, I can't stop watching this. Find it so inspiring. It's just perfection, the way he goes from pose to pose and makes it look so smooth is just unbelievable.

I want to be back on stage :(

Good man, looks like you are well and truly hooked mate. :)

Shawn Ray is a fantastic Poser, i think he must have been watching vids of Ed Corney though. ;)
